Helloooo, my gorgeous darlings! Emma here, your friendly neighbourhood pink tutu-wearing time traveler, coming at you live from… well, actually, I'm a bit hazy on the details. Let's just say I'm somewhere in the glittering, fabulous future, and leave it at that!

I know, I know! You're thinking: "Emma, you're not supposed to time travel in your tutu, that’s what the magic travelling high heels are for!" And you're right! My dazzling diamond-encrusted stilettos are usually my mode of transport. But this time – yes, you heard that right – this time I got carried away in the heat of the moment and accidentally summoned my pink tulle-tastic time travel tutu!

Don’t worry, my loves, I'm completely safe. These shimmering, swirling layers are always full of magic. Besides, you never know what exciting draggy adventures might await! 😉 I wouldn't want to miss out on some incredible performances just because I was being sensible, now would I? After all, it's not every day you get a chance to visit the future, let alone in a tutu!

Speaking of the future… Have you seen the fashion, dolls? It’s absolutely divine! 2034 has a definite “high fashion meets cyberpunk” vibe, with holographic fabrics, glowing sequins, and bold geometric shapes. Think holographic pink and silver tutus with shimmering, neon embellishments, paired with super chic, edgy boots – and of course, tons of sparkly body makeup. I'm so inspired! Honestly, you'll all be channeling the “future Barbie” look soon. Mark my words!

But the true gem of this journey wasn’t the futuristic fashion… It was the incredible drag scene!

My heart exploded the minute I entered this drag club in a place called...wait for it…London, of all places! You see, in the 21st century, London is apparently no longer a haven for groundbreaking drag, but apparently 2034 is the comeback year! They're roaring with excitement about drag again. Can you believe it?!

Apparently, drag played a massive role in combating the environmental crisis of the 2020s and 30s, making it all the way into mainstream news and even influencing the global climate policies. They brought back drag balls, themed to different global eco-initiatives. Every drag queen became an eco-activist and used their platform to push for change. Who knew drag could be so powerful? I'm completely awed by the incredible impact the drag scene is having, from raising awareness to organising campaigns for sustainable living, drag queens are saving the planet, one glitter-bomb at a time!

The scene itself was mind-blowingly diverse, too. I met some incredible performers from across the globe, showcasing unique talents that left me absolutely breathless! They had robot queens performing aerial acrobatics with futuristic light installations, bio-queens with live plant-based makeup, AI-queens controlled by state-of-the-art technology… my head is still spinning! Seriously, you could tell this drag scene has so much love for everything, from high camp comedy to high-fashion runway shows, and a whole heap of activism on top! It’s brilliant!

The drag scene in 2034 is more than just a show, it's a real cultural force, baby! It's the place where different worlds meet and create something truly special. Imagine the kind of power you have when you can dress in your most fabulous attire and combine that with messages of hope, resilience, and inclusivity? That's the magic of drag in the 21st century, and you can see it reflected in the fierce queens that are driving this revolution.

It was, of course, an incredible journey. There’s something special about time traveling to a world full of wonder, joy and possibilities, particularly when it’s drag that brings all those elements together. I always feel invigorated, inspired, and excited to see how drag will evolve in the future.

And the best part? This little tutu travel brought me inspiration that’s so potent it nearly sent me into a tizzy, giving me a vision of what I want to create right back in the here and now! So, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm gonna go full force with the futuristic fashion from this trip. I'm ready to reimagine drag with a bold new style that incorporates these stunning ideas of sustainability and diversity and – just you wait for it! – pink holograms!

Now I have a secret mission for you all, dolls… I’ve got this crazy, wonderful idea to bring 2034 drag style back to 2023, just imagine! We can have holographic make-up tutorials and drag fashion that will make heads spin, but the message will be all about raising awareness about our planet, bringing people together, and making the whole world a better, more beautiful, more fabulous place! I think this new movement has so much potential – we could become like a fashion force of nature…
