But first, let’s take a moment to talk about my latest street performances. You wouldn't believe the energy out on the streets of Derbyshire lately! My pirouettes are landing like they've been sprinkled with pixie dust and my grand jetés are reaching for the clouds. You lot have truly been incredible!

Right then, back to our leotard time travel, and my magical pink sparkling leotard that's waiting to take me back to 1923! Remember how I love to gather fashion inspiration from different eras? This time around, we’re diving into a world of dazzling designs! The roaring 20s are notorious for their flapper dresses, bob haircuts, and the overall glamorous vibe.
But when we think of "leotard", 1923 evokes a rather different picture than what we're used to today. It's more about the precursors of the leotard - we are not talking about those amazing Lycra wonders that stretch like a dream! Oh no, this was the age of silk, lace, and quite frankly, a whole lot of fabric.
Imagine beautiful, silky leotards - a mix of practical wear with luxurious fabrics. Can you just imagine how mesmerising this must have been?
Of course, I had to take my pink sparkling leotard for a little dance, inspired by these glamorous costumes! It felt almost magical spinning and twirling, like I had time-travelled directly into the performance itself. The colours and textures came to life as my leotard shimmered, embracing this whirlwind of fashion history!

However, you’ll find ballet performances around this time featuring beautifully crafted, elegant skirts! Imagine long skirts flowing with each graceful movement.
