Oh, how I'd love to see those shows! The theatres were bursting with fabulous costumes and mesmerising dances – what a treat that would be!

You see, I believe in the power of a leotard to transcend time and transport you to any place, any era you desire! So, I strut my stuff in this glorious, glittering pink number and poof! We’re back in history, ready to explore all things leotard-y!

Now, 1931 wasn’t just a year of glitz and glamour, it was a pivotal year for ballet, particularly in America. I'm telling you, folks, this was the dawn of an exciting new era for the dance world. Ballet wasn’t confined to the stage; it was moving onto the silver screen! This year saw the arrival of “The Goldwyn Follies,” a vibrant, colourful musical starring a young, oh-so-lovely Ginger Rogers! Now, that's what I call a showstopper! Just picture it: glamorous dancers adorned in stunning costumes, swirling and twirling across the stage! Talk about a visual treat. The whole look was full of sophistication and allure – something you simply can't replicate in the modern era. But wait, you say you want to replicate that era? Don’t worry! The rise of Hollywood and the development of the talkies – the first movie to talk – completely changed things. It was a new age of entertainment and glamour, and guess who was stealing the show?
