You know, I've been busying myself in Derbyshire these last few weeks, perfecting my pirouettes and street performances. Fundraising is no easy feat, you know! It takes a lot of sequins and smiling to keep my magical pink, time travelling leotard gleaming and my travels flowing smoothly. Luckily, folks here in Derby just adore a good twirl! The town's buzzing with energy and the atmosphere's just so lively!
I absolutely adore finding new ways to incorporate vintage inspired looks into my daily fashion routine, you can't help but feel inspired by the wonderful pieces you stumble across during time travel, darling.

A Blast from the Past! 1962: Leotards as Stylish as a Parisian Café!I'm standing in the middle of bustling Paris, darling! Oh, how the air just fizzes with energy here! There's such a creative energy in this city, a stylish, almost dangerous edge that inspires every twirl, every pose.
Walking the streets today, you might see Parisian women sporting some incredibly stylish leotard pieces, all wonderfully cut and beautifully crafted! I spotted some gorgeous leotards that had the most interesting little sleeves. Some were beautifully cut to create a little ruffle at the shoulder and looked fabulously chic with the way they perfectly emphasized their waists!
There was also a real shift to using contrasting fabrics with contrasting colours, think soft pastels and bright, bold shades all combined in stunning, harmonious blends, absolutely divine, darlings!
Of course, my journey in time wouldn't be complete without a quick peek at the ballet world! Imagine me, whirling through a Paris theater, the stage aglow with lights, the dancers effortlessly gliding across the wooden floor... ah, to dance on such a stage, it's a dream come true!
There’s been a major shift in dance aesthetics in the last couple of years, and for 1962, you'd be shocked at how contemporary everything is becoming. The dancers are becoming so much bolder in their movements, the steps, they're breathtaking, darling! It’s all so stylishly effortless, and honestly? I'm a little in awe of the contemporary revolution happening in dance.
