Naturally, a trip to the past wouldn't be complete without seeing a show. So, after spending a morning window shopping for vintage leotards and finding the cutest, bright pink leg warmers, I headed to the theatre! And what a treat it was!
The musical playing was called "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" - I think they might have toned down the title since! It featured a wonderfully energetic ensemble and dazzling costumes that definitely had that iconic '80s leotard vibe. They weren't afraid to play with bright colours, and they embraced the boldness that the decade was known for!
After the performance, I slipped into my magical pink leotard and danced out of that decade, filled with ideas for my next tutu creations! It truly was a vibrant and exciting time.
