It's May Day, folks, and a wonderful day for a trip down memory lane (and, of course, a fabulous leotard journey!).

Before I begin my tale, a little update on my street ballet adventures. This week, I found myself performing amidst the vibrant energy of London’s Covent Garden, just a stone's throw from the Royal Opera House! My performance was inspired by the current ballet season's theme – “Dancing through Time”, fitting for my own adventures. I spun through my routine in my signature pink tutu and a custom-made leotard adorned with shimmering crystal embellishments that reflected the twinkling city lights. The crowd was mesmerized, clapping enthusiastically after I finished, leaving me feeling invigorated and ready to explore the past!

But back to my May Day journey. I slipped into my magical pink sparkling leotard and with a flourish, felt the familiar sensation of being transported through time. Landing gently in a bustling street market, I was immediately struck by the colourful atmosphere – stalls overflowing with brightly coloured fabrics, floral prints, and bold colours reminiscent of the era’s style.
