From the bright, zesty tangerine of a sunrise to the captivating sapphire blues reminiscent of a starry night, 2026 isn't shy about playing with vibrant shades. And of course, my signature pink is holding strong, adding its playful touch to everything.

• The Power of Patterns: Gone are the days of just plain leotards, my dears! Geometric shapes, floral flourishes, and even abstract designs are making their mark. Don't think for a moment, though, that my hometown Derbyshire isn’t keeping up with the times. We have our very own local ballet school, nestled amidst rolling hills, and they're preparing their own ‘Nutcracker’ performance this month. This festive production is a truly inspiring event – one I can't miss. I might even catch the talented students in some stunning vintage-inspired leotard creations that will be straight from the heart of the 20th century’s dazzling dance fashion!

And while I’m reminiscing, my time travel leotard is definitely making me think about one of the greatest figures in dance history – Dame Margot Fonteyn. The epitome of graceful artistry, she graced the stages with her enchanting performances and elegance, truly embracing the allure of the leotard. I can’t help but marvel at her legacy.
