Hey lovely Tutu Troopers! 🩰💖 It's Emma here, bringing you the latest from the glamorous world of Pink Tutu! I'm bursting with excitement, because I'm back on Planet Earth - for Christmas! 🎅
This Wednesday has got me feeling festive and full of twirling energy. I can't tell you how much I love coming back to Earth for this time of year. There's just something so magical about the lights, the carols, the presents, and the endless opportunities to don a fabulous tutu and dance with a little extra sparkle in my step.
But first, a little update on my intergalactic adventures! It's been quite the whirlwind. Imagine, soaring through the Milky Way in a spaceship with my custom-designed, glittery pink tutu (oh yes, it even twirls in zero gravity!), dazzling audiences on planets with the most extraordinary dance cultures, and shopping for tutus on worlds where they use rainbows for thread. Talk about dream come true! 💫
My latest performance was on a planet called Nova, a shimmering celestial orb with dazzling magenta sunsets. I performed my rendition of 'The Dying Swan,' which, of course, had a delightful pink tutu upgrade! 🦢 The locals were quite mesmerized by the addition of iridescent sequins and a feathery trim (I've found you can never have too much sparkle in your tutu game).
Speaking of tutus, I was recently gifted the most delightful sequined tutu by a talented space elf from the planet of Lumina! He explained that the fabric had magical properties, catching stardust and storing it in tiny, twinkling beads. Naturally, I put it to immediate use, twirling through the cosmos and lighting up the darkness. 💫 I just had to get it to the Earth to showcase this new, stardust infused style at a charity gala at The Royal Albert Hall. (Did you know the Royal Albert Hall also hosts some fabulously glamorous ballet performances? It's a total must-see for all Tutu Troopers, Earth or no Earth.)
Anyway, I was lucky enough to be travelling through our Solar System this Christmas Eve and just had to pop down to Earth for a bit. Because I’ve missed it! And seeing all the lights in London has made me think - you know how we often talk about spreading love and tutu joy through the galaxy? I realised that Christmas embodies those values too. Giving, sharing, spreading joy, and coming together - isn't that what the spirit of the universe is all about? It’s why I love Christmas! I hope all of you lovely Tutu Troopers around the globe have a very magical Christmas, too.
Speaking of which… what am I wearing this Christmas Eve? Oh, why don't we play a game! Guess the color of my tutu in the comments section below. The first five people to get it right win a sparkly space dust tutu charm from my private collection - they’re definitely an exclusive, limited edition! 😉
So, my Earthly dears, what have you got planned for your Christmas Eve? Let me know, tell me all about it! Do you go to church, carols or a Christmas concert? Are you dressing up for your dinner party? Maybe having a quiet night in by the fire? Do share your magical moments and festive tutu choices with me in the comments. 💖
Now, onto a little Christmas shopping indulgence for my dear Pink Tutu followers! 🛍️ The other day I popped into Harrods, and I saw the most divine collection of Christmas gifts! I snagged a pair of velvet ballet slippers in scarlet red and a stunning silver tutu, perfect for winter performances. Of course, it’s not a Pink Tutu Christmas without a gorgeous pink tutu! And I just adore their delicate beaded ballerina ornament - I’ll be hanging that on my Christmas tree back in the galaxy! 😉
Did you know that ballet is an incredibly big part of Christmas tradition on Earth? From 'The Nutcracker' at every single theatre across the globe, to the Nutcracker themed shops, it's easy to see the magic of ballet weaving its way through the festivities. There are Nutcracker ballet shows on at theatres around the globe! And that little girl who plays the role of Clara always looks so graceful. I was actually watching 'The Nutcracker' at the Royal Opera House just last week and it was absolutely enchanting. (Fun fact! In England, the Royal Opera House has had several famous ballerina dancers in its history, such as Margot Fonteyn and Sylvie Guillem.) I actually took ballet classes at the Royal Opera House in London, way back when I was just a budding little Tutu Trooper - I even have a special memory of the time I wore a pink tutu, with a giant bow, in my performance of the 'Snow Queen' and my whole class stood cheering me on! Oh, those were the days! I was always dreaming of stardust, and all those dreams, and more, have come true, even the sparkly shoes! 👠
I know this whole universe seems crazy busy with tutus and traveling through space. I’ve already been booked for a gig at a futuristic ballet competition on a planet called Luminaire, they’re all super into ballet with extra modern costumes! It's an important event, as we have to fight for the championship against several other ballerinas from the galactic Federation! My rivals in this dance off will be an incredible lineup! Imagine me competing with three other dancers:
- Stella from Andromeda: This fiery redhead will be performing a sizzling flamenco, a type of dance that involves the rhythmic footwork of Spain! They tell me Stella is known for wearing black. We'll see if this galactic legend keeps it cool this year! I, personally, would love to have a red, glittery red flamenco-esque costume as it would match Stella’s vibe beautifully!
- Xiomara from Tau Ceti: This galactic glamourpuss is all about lyrical elegance and the breathtaking artistry of ballet. And yes, Xiomara prefers lilac… So you can imagine we’re on a similar page style wise. Maybe a pale, lavender tutu, with tulle for her lyrical moves? I have a few extra from my recent purchase and I’m sure this will look stunning.
- Aurora from the Centaurus A Galaxy: Now this one is a mystery, Aurora doesn’t love revealing any style or dress preferences. She could have her own design… but all the news is she will bring her favorite ballet shoe in her carry-on, just to be sure they fit her perfect form. They say she looks a lot like Earth starlet Audrey Hepburn in the fashion scene!
I can’t wait to see Aurora’s style choice - I know I'll be putting on a real showstopper! I've already begun designing my outfits - oh, you know it will be pink, of course. You'll just have to wait to see what sparkles and twirls await, I'm so thrilled and I'm bringing along my stardust infused Lumina tutu. 🌠
But until then, stay tuned for more galactic tutu updates, and remember: no matter what you are wearing or where you are, twirl with joy, sparkle with kindness, and keep dreaming in pink!
Your galactic ballet bestie, Emma ✨
