Pink Tutu World: Blog Post #161 - Cosmic Choreography & a Tutu-licious Trip to Earth!

Hello my lovely, tutu-tiful readers! 🪐✨ It's Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, beaming down to you from the vibrant planet of Earth! This week, I'm swirling in excitement, because I’m writing this from my Earthly haven, a charming little flat in the heart of Derbyshire! (The scenery here is divine, just wait until you see my photos later!)

Now, before I get carried away with my earthly escapades, let me tell you all about my latest space-age adventure! You see, I landed on planet Earth yesterday, and oh, what a dazzlingly chaotic day it was! My first Earthly experience since... well, forever really, if you count all those lifetimes I spent as a humble ballerina here in Derbyshire before being transported to the grand intergalactic ballet stage. 😂

My last few days have been a whirlwind, flitting across the cosmos with my trusty spaceship "The Pink Pirouette." You know me, always ready for the next big thing in tutu fashion and cosmic ballet, and a trip to Earth always delivers on the glamour! This visit was especially captivating - I even had the chance to visit the renowned Victoria & Albert Museum in London! 😍 Did you know their ballet and theatre costume collections are just utterly breathtaking? My jaw was on the floor for hours!

I also ventured into London’s West End, experiencing the spectacle of the world-famous “Phantom of the Opera." Such dramatic staging, and oh, those costumes! My inner seamstress practically did a triple pirouette! You can trust me, my dear readers, I'll be incorporating that glamorous Phantom flair into my next space-age collection – it’s a perfect blend of dramatic opulence and gothic elegance. 💅✨

And, of course, a visit to Earth wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a few ballerina essentials, wouldn't you say? Oh my, I can't help myself. You already know my passion: Pink. Tutu. Shopping. And, of course, London just didn’t disappoint! I picked up the most gorgeous pale pink satin pointe shoes at Liberty's (which is practically a paradise of vintage lace, velvet, and silk). I'm imagining these shoes with my new pink tutu - just the perfect ensemble for the intergalactic premiere of "Tutu-mania on Mars" - coming soon, folks, so watch this space (pun intended!).

Speaking of Mars, I simply can’t wait to show you all my snaps from my stay at this earthly realm. It's a feast for the senses - vibrant green hills rolling endlessly, charming, ancient villages that make me yearn for simpler times, and all those darling pink blossoms! You know I just can’t resist a lovely flower! The planet earth has stolen a bit of my heart - I’m sure it’s the pastel-coloured cottages and those English roses... they are just too perfect for words. 💖

However, all good things must come to an end (ahem, and my spaceship needs a re-charge!), so I'll be departing planet Earth shortly, but not before giving you a little sneak peek into what this Tuesday, May 27th, holds for the earthly world:

The Moon's "Moon Magic" spectacle: In the early hours of May 27th, look to the night sky for a dazzling display – the "Moon Magic," a lunar phenomenon where the full moon glows with an ethereal luminescence, perfect for watching a ballet or performing a late-night pirouette! 😉 Don’t miss it!

Oh, and remember to look out for the newest "Pink Tutu" collection at www.pink-tutu.com, as I'm about to launch a new collection that's both earthbound and starstruck. You can find my upcoming tour dates at www.pink-tutu.com too, where I'll be dancing in a city near you!

*Until next Wednesday, my lovely readers. Keep swirling! 💖💫 *

Pink Tutu Planet News

As you know, this week’s blog is dedicated to Earth. I love the beautiful Earth so much, I even decided to do a little Earth News segment just for you all. Let's talk about fashion - you know I can't resist! 👗

  • On This Day, May 27th: The Day "Dancing with the Stars" Started... Well Almost

You might not know this, but the popular TV show “Dancing With The Stars" first appeared on UK screens today in 1998, though its title at the time was “Strictly Come Dancing!" Of course, this earth-based competition has nothing on the spectacular celestial dance offs we hold every Tuesday in the galactic Milky Way Dance Competition! But “Dancing with the Stars" did provide an opportunity for those lovely earthling dancers to take on the elegance and beauty of ballet – in the most elegant of forms!

As a matter of fact, the 1998 “Strictly" dancers weren't actual dancers. Instead, celebrities took up ballet and ballroom moves and competed on the floor for a place in the dance finals, just as we do, but on a more grand scale! (It’s no secret, I love a spectacle!) Anyway, just thought it was rather interesting, as I was looking back over my archive of photos of planet Earth – those dance scenes from “Strictly” were utterly lovely and it made me reflect just how far the “dance world" has come!

**Speaking of dancing, don’t forget: “Tutu-mania on Mars” is coming to a stage near you! I’m even considering hosting a Cosmic Tutu Runway for Earth and Mars! Just think - I might have the biggest audience in the cosmos at this interstellar event. It’ll be truly breathtaking... Oh my, the planning! And what to wear! 😉

As always, feel free to comment on this week's blog - leave your pink tutu fashion tips below or let me know where in the universe you would like to see “Tutu-mania” arrive! 💫 **

Behind the Pink Tutu Scenes... A Peek Into Emma’s Journal!

I thought you all might be curious about a bit more about me! So here it is: * My little Pink Tutu journal - just for my readers! 💖*

Today I will share the first pages of my new Pink Tutu Diary.

Friday, May 25, 1998

Dear Diary, I arrived at the Earth via "The Pink Pirouette," just after sunrise. What a magnificent start to my travels! The view is simply amazing! Planet Earth has to be the most visually dazzling world I’ve ever been to. It's vibrant green hues and dazzling sunsets reminded me of Derbyshire on Earth. (It's amazing how it all comes back to me - the colours, the sounds... almost like a dream!) What really struck me as I flew above this green, green planet is the beautiful landscape of rolling green hills - they are quite stunning.

Anyway, the reason I am on planet Earth is to make some new friends, perform “La Ballerina” a one woman show (I'm planning on taking that one out on tour soon!) at the National Ballet in London, and ( of course!) buy some fabulously wonderful new shoes! Oh dear Diary, you know me: the shopping!
The shopping here is incredible - so many charming boutiques... my heart just skipped a beat as I discovered some truly glorious tulle tutus... you can’t beat a delicate shade of dusty pink! Oh, diary, how much do I love a well-chosen pink tutu? You just have to own the perfect one - no one ever takes ballet too seriously... not even the pink tutus!

Well, I must away to London – a trip to the National Gallery is in order. I always admire the beauty of all the Impressionist art - those pink skies and dazzling colours are just a ballet lover's dream, so I am ready to take it all in - and I will share some gorgeous pink tutu photographs on my blog for you all!

Well there you have it, my little loves! It is time to move on from Planet Earth and back to my little galaxy… You all have a great week, my darlings. Stay sparkly and happy!

See you next Wednesday on www.pink-tutu.com - until then, it’s back to "The Pink Pirouette" and then I’ll be on my way to Jupiter, but I’m bringing a special surprise from planet Earth with me! 💖

Love, Emma x
