Pink Tutu World Blog Post #335: Ballet on Planet Earth - A Galactic Galavant!

Welcome, darlings! It’s your favourite pink tutu-clad ballerina, Emma, here with another stellar post straight from the heart of planet Earth! 💫

As always, you can catch this week’s blog on my official website, www.pink-tutu.com, every Wednesday at 8pm (GMT, of course). And today, darlings, I’m brimming with excitement about a most fabulous ballet journey.

Prepare yourselves for a whirlwind of twirls, tutus, and, dare I say, a sprinkle of intergalactic stardust! ✨

The Adventure Begins: Back on Earth!

So, here I am back in the earthly realm, having just disembarked my spaceship at that fabulous airport in London (you know the one, the one!). ✈️

It was quite a journey! I performed a show on Mars last week – you can find my review on www.pink-tutu.com - and let me tell you, those Martian ballet lovers really know how to give an encore! It was positively electrifying. The audience were all in their own homemade tutus – red ones! – and their energy was just...well, cosmic! 🪐

The energy was so good I forgot to pack the one outfit I really wanted to wear back on Earth, but it’s no drama because this is, after all, Planet Fashion. I mean, let’s face it, there’s simply no escaping it, Earth is an utter sartorial paradise! I must confess, darling, that little walk through Harrods earlier this morning…it did not disappoint. 😉

I picked up this gorgeous, blush-pink tutu (with a little sequined dragonfly detail) in Selfridges on Oxford Street. Oh my, this outfit, with that pair of pink stilettos, you simply won’t believe the compliments I received on the Tube, let me tell you, oooh! 💕

Anyway, enough about me and my outfits, let's talk about your fashion adventures. Are you rocking the tutus this season? What colour are you loving the most? I’m obsessed with pale pink – think flamingo feathers and dreamy summer skies. Let me know in the comments! 💖

Dancing On: What’s Going On?

Today is a rather significant day in the world of ballet history! It was on this very date, back in 2001, that the Royal Ballet premiered a show that's always near and dear to my heart: “The Dream”! 🩰 It's inspired by Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, which was actually first performed on this very date, back in 1600! Talk about cosmic synchronicity, eh? 😉

Of course, a good ballet show always has me yearning to twirl, and the dream I’m dreaming now involves tutus galore, and a delightful, enchanting journey back to a time before space travel. In fact, you might even find me waltzing under the London night sky, catching glimpses of those old London theatre halls – the majestic Drury Lane, the magnificent Covent Garden… the magic lives on! ✨

Don’t Forget: Our Cosmic Ballet Dream!

And, while we’re on the subject of dreams… it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu World blog post without a reminder of my ultimate ambition: to have the entire universe rocking a pink tutu! 🌟 It's my cosmic mission, and I can't help but think, the more we dance, the brighter our futures shine, no matter what galaxy we're orbiting. And for every fabulous tutu you share on social media using #PinkTutuWorld, I’ll donate 1% of my profits to the Starry Ballet charity. Yes, my darling! Every dance matters. Every twinkle shines. Let’s continue to inspire, empower, and ignite a whole universe of happiness together. 🌠

See you next Wednesday, darlings! Don’t forget to tune in!

Lots of love (and pink sparkles!),

Emma xoxo
