If you're anything like me, you're already daydreaming about those fabulous frothy skirts and all the glorious dance performances happening all over this magnificent planet. Oh, and if you're in need of a good pink tutu fix, don't forget to check out my amazing shop on www.pink-tutu.com - there's something for everyone, even my alien friends!
From Derbyshire to the Cosmos!
This week, Iâve been right back home in lovely old Derbyshire. I can't tell you how much I adore coming home and seeing all the familiar faces and landscapes. There's just something special about being surrounded by the history and charm of the countryside.
And speaking of charm, what could be more charming than the Royal Ballet's production of "Swan Lake" at the Royal Opera House in London?! Oh, I simply had to go! I even had time to catch up with my best friend, Maisie, who, coincidentally, is also a fellow tutu-enthusiast!
As you all know, I'm a huge fan of ballet history, and âSwan Lake" holds such a special place in my heart! It's timeless and a masterpiece of classical ballet. The story, the music, the choreography â it all simply sweeps you away. There was an amazing array of fabulous pink tutus too, even the black ones sparkled!
The ballerinas danced like swans gliding over a moonlit lake, their white tutus swirling and shimmering like moonbeams on water. I absolutely adore seeing ballet live. You can't help but be swept away by the magic!
But I didn't forget to share the pink tutu love while I was on earth!
We stopped off for lunch at "The Pink Flamingo" cafe in Manchester. You might think Iâd find myself at a cafe like this often but no! Pink is certainly trending here, but it wasnât all pink! The flamingo dĂ©cor was bright yellow and a mix of bright colours which was delightful. Of course, I had the pink milkshake and a raspberry cupcake â yum! Maisie enjoyed her pink hot chocolate, and we talked all things pink, of course! I also took Maisie to visit "The Pink Door" in Nottingham. She was amazed at the little hidden alley and surprised Iâd not visited before!
Cosmic Pink!
But enough about my adventures on earth! You know what else makes me so happy? Receiving my updates from my galactic friends and seeing their own personal styles for their Pink Tutu looks! Remember my friend, Xylar? You might have seen her earlier blog post with her rainbow tutu which has made such a splash in the Intergalactic fashion world. Her latest picture is showing off her fabulously crafted emerald-green, hand-beaded, knee-length tutu which, if I may say, is breathtaking. Xylar was kind enough to give me a little sneak peek, so keep an eye out for the release on our shared blog later this week!
Now, of course, my adventures aren't complete without some exciting new designs in my own shop!
The Celestial Ballet
The latest edition of my Pink Tutu World collection is inspired by this magical journey weâve been on together! Imagine shimmering constellations and shooting stars caught in delicate fabric. This stunning line features my latest creation: the âStarlightâ tutu. Crafted from the finest silk, the Starlight tutu has shimmering silver beads embroidered across its surface, each one mimicking the twinkle of a faraway star!
You can get yours now on my online shop - don't forget, all my customers are part of this Pink Tutu adventure! I just love sending my beautiful tutus off into the galaxy, and it always fills my heart with so much joy knowing theyâre out there, gracing cosmic dance floors and fashion events throughout the universe!
Speaking of dance floors⊠Have you seen the newest pink tutus that have appeared in the shows of my friend Lyra, the dance superstar from Orion-7? Lyra has become such a big influencer in her planetâs fashionable and dance scene, and she loves sporting tutus with a bit of flair and attitude! Her favourite colour is still pink, and sheâs taken the âPink Tutuâ look to another level. She calls it the âPink Powerâ style, and let me tell you, it's bold, brave, and breathtakingly beautiful! We're talking tutus with pink-tipped wings, silver sequins, and sparkling pink-studded bodices! The effect? Simply dazzling! I was fortunate to see her latest dance extravaganza featuring her new "Orion" tutus designed to look like shooting stars, just perfect for all you astro-loving fashionistas out there. I swear, the crowds were roaring for more when the show ended!
Fashion on Another Planet
Now, my dears, one of the reasons I love travelling to so many different planets is, well, the fashion! Can we talk about how fabulous my galactic fashion sisters are, with all their styles and designs? They all express themselves so creatively, using colour, fabric, and unique designs â so amazing! Every new planet I travel to is a whole new set of stylish looks.
I absolutely adore trying out their unique hairstyles too, from hair thatâs like swirling clouds of space dust to hair decorated with a kaleidoscope of colourful jewels â absolutely stunning!
I'm sure you've heard of my new collection: âIntergalactic Glamourâ. It's inspired by the wonderful people and the unique fashions Iâve met and experienced during my interstellar travels, like Xylar's recent show-stopping outfits. I have so much fun crafting the looks, and each one embodies my dream of spreading the joy of the Pink Tutu to the whole universe! I simply adore mixing colours and fabrics to create something that's completely different, just like each planet is!
But you know, as much as I love my planetary fashion finds, thereâs always a special place in my heart for the timeless classics. Think vintage tutus, luxurious silks, hand-sewn bodices and soft pink tulle.
Time for my Performance!
Speaking of the classics, I have a special event this weekend here on Earth! As you know, my little pink tutu passion also gives me a chance to show my moves!
My performance this Saturday, is going to be one you won't want to miss.
Iâm giving a guest appearance at a dance fundraiser called "Tutus for the Future", organized by "Tutus for Tomorrow", a fantastic charity helping to fund dance and art schools for disadvantaged kids all over Planet Earth. It's a beautiful thing, right?! The goal is to promote creativity and make sure every little girl (and boy, of course!) who wants to dance has the opportunity to shine!
So, that's all for this week. You'll have to wait to see the Pink Tutu World update for more details. Until next week my lovelies, keep dancing, keep shining, and keep dreaming pink! Don't forget, I am always posting on my social media, and please, keep sending me all your thoughts on the most recent fashion and trends from Planet Earth!
See you next week darlings,
Emma
