Pink Tutu World: Ballet on Planet Earth! (Blog Post #506)

Hello darlings! It's Wednesday, so you know what that means! It's time for another Pink Tutu World blog post! I'm so excited to tell you all about my fabulous trip to Earth last week. Oh my goodness, you wouldn't believe the adventures I had!

First off, can we talk about January 5th? This day is iconic, it's the day in 2005 that Prince William and Kate Middleton were first spotted together! How romantic! It's been a whole 18 years now since these two met and they’ve gone on to be such a powerful and beautiful couple. As a massive royal family fan, I think they represent everything wonderful about modern love! They even chose London, my absolute favourite place on earth (you'll find out why later!) as the place they’d finally let the world know they were an item.

Anyway, back to my adventures! Earth's gravity is just so delightful and a nice change from all the space travel I've been doing lately. Of course, I'd brought along my stunning new pink tutu (it’s an absolute dream!), perfect for twirling around those English cobblestone streets. As soon as I landed, I found myself drawn to the hustle and bustle of London - I’ve always been a city girl, even if I am originally from the adorable village of Matlock in Derbyshire, England.

I have to confess, one of the things I find so appealing about Earth is the abundance of fabulous boutiques! It was absolutely the highlight of my trip. I simply had to go shopping! You won't believe this, but I discovered an amazing shop in Soho. It was called, 'The Pink Tutu Shop'. I was absolutely thrilled! Of course, I picked out several new tutus for my collection. A new purple sequined one, an iridescent one that changes colour in the light, a bright pink one, an adorable pink mini-tutu, and, of course, a gorgeous tulle skirt for dancing!

Speaking of dancing! I managed to catch a performance at the Royal Opera House! I had such a wonderful time! There’s nothing better than a live performance - the atmosphere is absolutely electric. I loved the set and the costumes (though a tiny bit more pink would have been nice!). And those ballerinas! The way they glided across the stage… oh, it just took my breath away. They were the absolute perfect embodiment of Pink Tutu World, a universe where beauty, grace and dance come together! I truly dreamt about ballet when I closed my eyes that night!

As an avid ballerina, I always love visiting some of the best dance studios on earth, so, of course, I just had to take a class at the renowned Royal Ballet School. It was amazing. There’s nothing like sweating and stretching alongside fellow dancers to get your blood pumping! The instructor was just brilliant, and, let’s just say I learned several new steps during that class. I’ve just started incorporating some of them into my latest show-stopping dance routines.

Before my departure, I managed to take a quick tour of London. It was so easy to navigate the underground system – a great option if you don’t want to battle the traffic above. As soon as you emerge onto the streets, the air feels electrifying. This is probably my favourite city on earth. Every corner boasts an abundance of beautiful buildings – many dating back hundreds of years. From Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace to the incredible Trafalgar Square and the Tate Modern, it is an architectural delight that never fails to impress! I simply must return to the Queen’s City sometime soon.

You know, sometimes I find myself thinking that a planet made entirely of pink tutus might not be a bad idea. You could have Pink Tutu trees and Pink Tutu beaches, with clouds of ethereal pink tulle. I wonder, would that make ballet classes in the park a thing? That would definitely be an enchanting way to start the day!

Of course, this journey, as always, is about making people everywhere fall in love with tutus. Pink ones, to be specific. As an influencer who loves to spread pink tutu joy wherever I go, I believe it’s time we take ballet and its history out of museums and bring it to the streets. Think bright, fun, eye-catching ballet performances. That would truly revolutionise fashion and dance everywhere!

And, while I'm at it, don't forget you can join Pink Tutu World! Visit www.pink-tutu.com. Until next time darlings!

P.S. This weekend I will be dancing my heart out on the spaceship. I have this fabulous, pink tulle number that is perfect for a little space-themed ballet show. I'm looking forward to capturing some fun snaps of this new performance in outer space! Stay tuned, Pink Tutu World is always on the move.
