#PinkTutuWorld Ballet on Planet Earth on 2005-12-14

Oh darling, I am back on Planet Earth after a whirlwind adventure! The stars twinkled in my eyes and the cosmic dust danced on my pink tutu as I zoomed across the cosmos in my spaceship, "The Pirouette". It's been a grand time, filled with so many incredible experiences and I cannot wait to tell you all about it.

I arrived in the spaceport of Loris Majoris, and to be honest, the sheer excitement was already setting me off on a series of fifth port de bras. This is a major intergalactic transport hub, a place to meet some really fabulous galactic beings! Imagine the potential fashion scene! Oh, my darling, it is breathtakingly exciting. I can't believe how many stunning alien creatures are adorned in pink tutus! You just wouldn't believe! There was this one, an absolutely dazzling green, luminous blob creature from a galaxy so far away I wouldn't dare pronounce it! His name was Zarthus (or something similar!) and he was a stunningly handsome blobby creature with a pink tutu to die for! Honestly! It was a vibrant hot pink, with the most delicate gold tulle trimmings... Oh, my darling, it was the dreamiest tutu. I literally melted!

The whole place was brimming with intergalactic glitterati . The only problem was, all the gorgeous shops in the cosmic arcade were closed! I'm talking boutiques, fashion halls, shoe salons... They were shut tight! I was devastated! How could this be! I have got to get my hands on the new celestial sequins - it's so essential, you know. The only store open was "Universal Hair," where they offer a whole spectrum of light-years-worth of styling choices. I, naturally, went with a new galactic gradient, and it’s a good job, too, because as soon as I landed back on planet Earth, the first thing I did was jump on to my personal space-age Instagram to give PinkTutuWorld a little live intergalactic update on all the crazy adventures, and of course I wanted to give you all a glimpse of my new cosmic 'do'.

Anyway, before I launch into my Earthly ballet adventures, you will love the next planet I visited. It’s absolutely magnificent, even without any sequins, which frankly, made me even more mesmerized. It’s called the "Jewel Galaxy"! Oh my heavens - this planet is literally covered in the most amazing Jewelled life forms! You have to imagine all the best pieces from any of the jewellery houses here, on Earth: diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires… Every colour imaginable! I kid you not, darling. They dance too! Honestly, this place was unbelievable. I’m not saying I’ve got a new dance partner from the Jewel Galaxy... I’m not saying! ;)

Back in the planet Earth orbit, it was finally time for me to land! Oh, it was great to see Derbyshire in the UK and as the fog cleared (as you would expect with Derbyshire’s weather!) I saw the countryside with the glistening frosty trees… Absolutely exquisite! It’s been so lovely getting home to the familiarity of it all. I had the most wonderful cup of Yorkshire tea while I thought about the weekend to come...

And this weekend, oh this weekend! I’m going to see a spectacular ballet production of "Sleeping Beauty," by The Royal Ballet, and my, my darling, I can’t wait! This one has the perfect ballet tutu to be honest, the most dreamy soft peach colour, with ever so subtle blush coloured embellishment. It just gets me in the mood for Christmas, don’t you think?

Speaking of Christmas, have you got your presents ready for everyone darling? And your Christmas outfit? A tutu is always a winning option! Don’t forget! For a magical festive touch, there’s just nothing like twirling your way into the spirit of things.

I was also wondering how about you consider making a pink tutu the perfect stocking filler this year?

Of course, I did take time to see what my dear favourite designer “Coco” had up her sleeve for me! A perfect pink cocktail dress from the latest Winter Collection for a celebratory cocktail party last night and... a new set of ballet shoes. Darling, these are heavenly! (Don’t worry; you will be hearing all about that one in my next post - “Oh La La... Fashion!.” But that’s for next week!)
