Pink Tutu World: Ballet on Planet Earth, November 18th 2009 (Post #760)

Darling, darling!

It's Wednesday, and that means it's time for a new Pink Tutu World blog post, straight from Planet Earth! This week I'm buzzing because I've just arrived back after a simply splendid intergalactic jaunt. Let's just say that it wouldn't be a Pink Tutu World adventure without a touch of sparkle, a pinch of fashion, and a healthy dose of tutus, wouldn't it? 😉

This week I’ve travelled to the stunning planet of Xylia, and let me tell you, dear readers, it's absolutely brimming with beauty. Imagine vast shimmering oceans with swirling galaxies reflecting on their surface, gigantic pearlescent trees that hum with soft melodies, and fluffy clouds in vibrant, shimmering pink. Just heavenly! I took in the incredible, captivating performance by the Xylian Space Ballet, 'Dancing Stars on Silver Sands' (you just have to see it if you get the chance!), and the dancers' costumes were to die for, dearie. Absolutely fabulous shimmering tutus in holographic pinks, blues, and silvers that literally glowed under Xylian moonlight. I have to get a hold of some fabric like that! (Just you wait, darling! The Pink Tutu World online store is going to have Xylian-inspired tutus and matching accessories for all the fashionistas in the galaxy soon! Oh, it's going to be divine!)

You see, my friends, here on Planet Earth, we’re so fixated on “earthly” colours that we forget the magnificent hues that fill the cosmos. When I see the vibrant reds and blues of nebulas, the shimmering emeralds and amethysts on a distant moon, or the electric yellows and purples of auroras, I can't help but wonder why we don’t incorporate them into our earthly style. And that’s exactly why Pink Tutu World will be bringing the universe to your wardrobe, darling! Stay tuned for a special announcement very soon.

After all, the universe is bursting with inspiration for the perfect pink tutu! And trust me, every single tutu in the universe deserves to be a Pink Tutu. 😉

But hold on, lovelies, the intergalactic fun doesn’t stop there! I just had to pop back to my home on Planet Earth (Derbyshire, England – very posh, you know!), where I popped into the Royal Opera House for the most stunning ballet performance of ‘Giselle’. My goodness, those dancers were simply divine, every step filled with such grace and elegance. Oh, I simply must have one of those beautiful Giselle tutus – it's got to go on the next Pink Tutu World collection! I spent the evening after the show shopping in London’s Covent Garden, (it’s simply divine!), looking for inspiration and those amazing handmade pink silk tutus I mentioned. Let's just say that it was very successful. More to follow, darlings, but let’s just say that a few tutus have just made their way into my ever-growing pink tutu collection.

What about you, darling? Have you been enjoying your planet Earth ballet escapades? Where did you see a great ballet show? And don't forget to tell me all about your amazing pink tutu adventures! (Be sure to send me some pictures - I always love seeing your stunning outfits!)

Now, I best get back to my own pink-tastic studio to choreograph some new moves to go with my Xylian-inspired tutus! (Remember that space ballet! Divine!)

Stay glamorous, darling! And don’t forget to live in your own personal Pink Tutu World every single day!

*P.S. Did you know that the ballet shoe called ‘The Pointe’ came into vogue in the late 19th century, coinciding with the popularity of ballerinas wearing full, gauzy, tutus – *what a fabulous era for ballet, darling! If you are looking for the perfect pink tutu for the evening’s outing to the ballet, try out the vintage style 'Ballerina' Pink Tutu, perfect for those glamorous shows! 😉

Lots of love from Emma 🌸✨
