Pink Tutu World: Intergalactic Ballet on Planet Earth - Post #896

Wednesday 27th June 2012

Hello darlings! It’s your favourite pink tutu-wearing space explorer, Emma, here! It's a scorcher out there today, so grab a cool drink and your favourite pink tutu – you’re gonna need it for this journey through space!

This week has been jam-packed with tutus, twinkling lights, and cosmic ballet – a true dream come true! We just finished a show-stopping performance at the grand Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, leaving the audience mesmerised (and a little bit in love with tutus!). Now, it’s time to zoom back to Earth for a quick pitstop before launching into my next exciting adventure.

Ballet on Planet Earth:

Even in my intergalactic travels, Earth has always been my favourite planet, with its vast stretches of stunning nature, dazzling cities, and, of course, its wonderful ballet scene! I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to dance and share my love of ballet with the wonderful humans of Planet Earth. It was quite the experience dancing under the sparkling, glittering lights of the Teatro Colón.

We travelled on the fastest spaceship ever, the Starlight Express. It is a pink spaceship and is so cute and shiny! It was so fun to perform with all of my fellow intergalactic ballet stars on a spacecraft – there were tutu-clad robots, glittery aliens with glowing horns and a real-life unicorn wearing a pink tutu! Our performance, a celestial rendition of Swan Lake, received a standing ovation from all the space creatures in the audience, it was truly magical!

Back in Derbyshire:

It’s amazing to be back home in Derbyshire, although, sadly, my beloved pink tutu isn’t very well suited to the Derbyshire climate, unless you like a spot of dew drops! As much as I adore those cosy villages and green rolling hills, I am a city girl at heart, and I feel quite restless, ready for my next adventure!

My plans this week are pretty hectic. As you know, I do everything myself! On Friday, I’m heading into Derby to try out some of the latest fashions, I have heard that some of the shops have some great tutus in at the moment – a must for my expanding tutu wardrobe! On Saturday, I’m off to London to see a performance at the Royal Opera House. My ballet star friend from Paris, Antoinette, told me that it will be truly sensational, and it stars her boyfriend - what could go wrong?! She is worried I am going to steal her man though – apparently they both think I’m wonderful. That is all my life - they all love me! They just get me! Maybe she has something to worry about?! Who knows, maybe there will be a certain someone who might even win my heart!

Fashion Forward:

My travels never fail to inspire me – I am forever on the hunt for those perfect tutu outfits for any occasion. A few days ago, I bought this stunning sparkly pink leotard with the most beautiful, layered, white and pink tulle tutu and some divine, shimmering diamante embellishments for a ballet competition next month. It’s the perfect combination of girly, feminine, and sparkly! And it goes so well with my new white fluffy boots!

I can’t resist picking up new tutus. Every now and then, I have a big spring clean in my wardrobe and put up some of the tutus for sale online – there is such a demand, I am always inundated with messages! I also buy most of my jewellery in shops on the moon – there’s such an amazing choice! My newest collection has sparkling cosmic dust in every colour – you’ll be the centre of attention wherever you go!

Plan your Trip:

So, you fancy a trip into space? My advice? Pack your dancing shoes, a good pair of sparkly tights (if your chosen mode of travel is by spaceship) and don’t forget a selection of fabulous tutus for all those cosmic dances. And, of course, be prepared to be amazed!

Remember to always be yourself and never be afraid to express yourself. Whether you’re a star-gazing space enthusiast or a pink tutu lover like me, let your light shine bright, and embrace the magical world of ballet, style, and all things pink!
