Pink Tutu World: Intergalactic Ballet Adventures - Blog Post #1013

Wednesday, September 24th, 2014

Oh darling, you won’t believe the adventure I’ve just had! I’ve travelled further than I’ve ever been before – past Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, you name it, I zoomed past it! And to think it was all thanks to my trusty spaceship, aptly named 'The Twirl', and a fantastic ballet performance in the heart of a bustling spaceport. I must admit, the galactic equivalent of London's Piccadilly Circus has an electrifying vibe!

This week’s adventure took me to a distant star system - and a planetary body you wouldn't believe! This planet has, you are not going to believe this, but two suns! The inhabitants are vibrant, warm, and incredibly fashion conscious, with the most stunning outfits made from luminescent fabrics that glow in the double-sunlight. Oh darling, you just know I picked up a few things for myself, it was an absolute bargain.

It wouldn’t have been complete without the experience of the local ballet company - a treat for the senses! Their movements were mesmerizing, fluid, and their tutus, you guessed it - pink! This world’s 'Tutu traditions' have them swirling in every shade imaginable. I just had to get a little closer to the local dance studio and even had a go - oh the thrill of a double-sunlit plie! It's always the greatest feeling meeting balletomanes all over the universe.

You know, darling, this really reinforces my aim in life, which I may have mentioned once or twice before (but it's never too often!) to spread the word, nay the word doesn't suffice - the universal truth, that pink tutus are the ultimate fashion statement across the cosmos!

Now, it may come as no surprise to you that my life on the planet Earth in my home in Derbyshire takes place on Wednesdays between 5.30pm and 8.30 pm – you might think, darling, that that's a little tight! But I am a professional ballerina after all, and it’s all a balancing act, with a dash of whimsical timing and well, maybe just a slight twirl or two from time to time! You know, when it's a particularly important day, a special moment to be captured forevermore on this here website, pink-tutu.com!

I had a most delicious cream tea today. And yes, of course, it involved strawberry jam - oh darling, my ultimate guilty pleasure! Later, I popped along to see a local ballet show. What a triumph! There was a wonderfully flamboyant pas de deux - the energy on stage was electrifying, it even brought a tear to my eye!

Now, darling, before I jet off to another exciting corner of the universe, I thought I'd let you in on a little secret. I’m working on my next performance and believe me, it’s a stunner. I’m drawing inspiration from all the magical beings, landscapes, and of course, fashion from my latest galactic jaunt. The costumes are fabulous, think twinkling stars, nebula swirls, and vibrant neons – they really set the stage for a dazzling interstellar ballet!

Until next week, darling.

Your very own interstellar ballerina, Emma
