Hey Tutu-lovers! It’s Emma here, back from a whirlwind adventure in the cosmic abyss, where the stars are my sequins and the galaxies are my dance floor!
This Wednesday's post is bursting with galactic glamour and a splash of pink (naturally). As always, I'm here to bring you the latest from my travels - this time a journey straight from the heart of Derbyshire, England to the most outlandishly-dressed corners of the universe.
This week has been all about the celestial dance, from exploring ancient ballet traditions on the glittering asteroid belt of Beta Centauri to perfecting a gravity-defying pirouette on the moonlit plains of the planet Zot. Yes, you heard that right: dancing amongst the stars!
Before I let you in on all the celestial shenanigans, let's rewind a little… Remember that celestial fashion show on the planet Xylos? Well, I'm still pinching myself after getting to waltz alongside the renowned fashion designers of the Galactic Alliance – their collections were simply breathtaking! From nebula-inspired tulle to shimmering, supernova-sequined fabrics, I was dazzled.
But I wasn't the only one who had eyes for the dazzling garments. It seems there's a growing movement in the galaxy, and guess what it’s all about? You guessed it – the power of the pink tutu! Yes, I even spotted a shimmering, pink tutu fashioned out of the feathers of a Zotzian Skybird - the ultimate status symbol!
That little glimpse of cosmic style definitely fuelled my mission - to spread the glorious message of pink tutus to every corner of the cosmos. And, well, let’s be honest, you can never have too many pink tutus! After all, pink is the ultimate colour of confidence, empowerment, and (let’s be honest) utter glamour.
Of course, spreading the pink tutu message doesn't happen overnight. It takes lots of hard work, and more than a few dazzling dance performances. But when I think of the impact, when I imagine all the universe waltzing together in a galaxy-wide, pink-tutu extravaganza, my heart soars.
Speaking of performances, a quick rewind to the world of terrestrial dance…
You might have heard, it's the 23rd of August, and in Derbyshire, we're celebrating the incredible legacy of the legendary ballerina Margot Fonteyn.
This legend is more than just a name for me, she's the original inspiration! It’s thanks to Fonteyn’s iconic dance moves, grace, and captivating spirit that I, a Derbyshire girl, started this whole cosmic journey. The day I discovered her - let’s be honest, it’s probably the day I became obsessed with the artistry of the tutu.
Now, it's your turn to unleash your inner ballerina! This week, I'm encouraging everyone - on Planet Earth and beyond - to find a pink tutu (even a simple one!) and dance like there's no gravity. And yes, a quick shimmy is definitely encouraged!

Remember - that little step of faith that Marie took transformed the ballet world. And just like that little step changed ballet history, I’m convinced every pink tutu wearer makes their own unique impact, whether on planet Earth, in a cosmic spaceship, or on the bright moonlit landscapes of Planet Zot.
