Welcome back, darlings! It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another thrilling escapade from yours truly, Emma, the Pink Tutu Queen of the Universe. And guess what? I'm back on Planet Earth! Yep, back in my little Derbyshire corner of this dusty old planet after an epic, galaxy-spanning adventure. Who's ready for a pink tutu extravaganza?
Oh, it’s such a thrill to be back in England! You know, as much as I adore zipping around the cosmos in my spaceship, there's no place quite like home. There’s something so delightful about slipping on my trusty pink tutu, grabbing a pot of Earl Grey tea and sitting in my rose-coloured conservatory, gazing at the familiar green fields outside. You can just feel the magic of Britain’s ballet history buzzing all around, like an enchanting fairy in a tutu!
Speaking of magic… this week has been an absolute whirlwind of wonder, love and ballet, just as you'd expect from your girl, Emma. I've been hopping between Earth and… well, let’s just say that revealing my current galactic destinations could lead to some unwanted interstellar diplomatic incidents. You see, some planets… oh well, that's a tale for another day! Let’s focus on Earth for now!
So, on my recent Earthly adventures, I've been lucky enough to catch a performance of The Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House, and I must say… what an absolute sensation! It’s like my dreams had turned into a performance. Honestly, if the ballerinas on stage had suddenly floated off and left a flurry of pink tutus and magical fairy dust in their wake, I wouldn’t have been surprised at all! I was mesmerized. I mean, I was already half mesmerised by the majestic architecture and grandeur of the opera house itself…it felt like a gigantic box of delicious, jewel-toned candy and it certainly added a touch of drama to my already magnificent Pink Tutu outfit!
After the ballet performance, I had the best time at a swanky London restaurant, trying out the most delightful pink champagne and devouring my favourite macarons, a delightful dessert fit for a Pink Tutu Queen, of course. Honestly, you could tell by my sparkly, pink outfit that I was destined to be there. Everyone stopped to admire me as I glided through the restaurant. I even got some rather lovely pictures with some super cute little poochie pups dressed up in little pink tutus, how absolutely darling!
But wait…it wasn’t all glamour and glitter. My whirlwind week also involved some rigorous ballet practice. Let’s be honest, my lovely readers, keeping your skills sharp requires work. I've been honing my skills in a stunning London ballet studio surrounded by the most divine pink roses, which of course inspired a spectacular pink-tutu fashion shoot I was later involved with in Hyde Park, a beautiful backdrop for the perfect pink tutu shot. It was all rather dazzling, a fairytale brought to life.
And you know what? There’s no place like London when it comes to ballet fashion shopping. My mission to make pink tutus the universal dress code got off to a flying start. I treated myself to the most wonderful array of sparkling pink tutus. One was the softest, pale pink I’d ever seen… it even glowed slightly when I spun in a dimly lit street light. I was basically a human-tutu firefly! It’s true – when it comes to shopping in the City of Lights (yes, we call it that in England, even though we have our own London fog!), pink is everything.
But here’s the thing – London is just one of the countless glamorous, magical, delightful places that I get to explore with my Pink Tutu passion. Just this week I've been exploring an entirely new dimension, another planet, another part of this massive universe we live in. Oh, what adventures! What dazzling alien flora! What mind-blowing galaxies. What…. hold on a second! Remember that rule? Don't share too much about where I've been. Maybe next time, maybe in my next blog, darlings! Let's just say the local aliens had amazing taste in tutus, but I’m pretty sure that the color “pink” is considered an obscenity on their planet. And you know what? I kinda like the rebellious side of that!
But anyway! It’s time to say “farewell, for now!” to my lovely Pink Tutu Universe followers, at least for now.
Join me every week on www.pink-tutu.com to learn about all my fabulous adventures. I’ve got more exciting updates for you coming your way, along with some juicy tidbits about upcoming dance competitions and performances. I can’t wait to see you all there.
Until next time, may your world sparkle with pink.
Love, Emma

A bit about Emma and the origins of the pink tutuEmma grew up in a small, quiet village called Chesterfield in the county of Derbyshire, England. Emma spent a lot of time at the local ballet school, inspired by ballet stars of yesteryear. But Emma loved pink. Her favorite color is, of course, the color pink. It seems almost predictable in hindsight but Emma was completely entranced by a pink tutu which belonged to a former student of the ballet school!
And that was it. The seed was sown. And then….a whole cosmic ballet took flight.
This Week's Itinerary:Today's date is Wednesday 12 July 2023, and it's the start of a delightful, sparkly, and super fabulous new week of travel! So what can Emma expect to happen? Oh my, where do I start! Emma’s plans have her traveling to places all over the Earth.
Today, she’s getting ready for a very special invitation only ballet performance at a famous private school for girls, followed by a rather delicious afternoon tea at one of the oldest hotels in the world.
Tomorrow, she’s spending some time at a new Ballet studio that’s just opened in her local town of Chesterfield (who could possibly say “no” to some extra ballet practice!) , but first, there's some exciting fashion shopping at an independent, luxury boutiques, a hidden gem that Emma only discovered during one of her most recent travels back from one of the planets in the Ursa Major constellation (which, as always, is off-limits as a secret location that we'll be keeping mum about for now)!
Friday is for fun…a day to indulge in the finer things… it’s time to hit the high streets and enjoy a luxurious shopping spree.
Saturday – Well, we’ll have to wait and see, it all depends what’s happening in Emma's current planet and what her latest travel plans are! But whatever it is, you know it's going to be exciting!
Finally, Sunday will involve Emma catching up with her lovely friends over some scrumptious cakes and cookies in the cafe she’s been frequenting for years! Yes, even this planet-hopping princess can sometimes find her self at home!
Oh! I’ve just had a flash, you know, like a tutu-twirling inspiration that pops up like a star in the night sky? Perhaps you should all keep your eye out for an exciting new post soon about Emma’s latest venture - her secret project - she’s hoping to start a pink-tutu ballet class right in the middle of a galaxy far, far, away. Yes, I know what you’re thinking: A galaxy far, far, away! Emma’s gone interstellar and taken on this crazy challenge!
You've got to love the pink tutu society!
If Emma makes it happen – it could change the whole cosmic universe. She’ll even make them fall in love with pink and love tutus - that's a galactic first. Oh, you simply must tune into the “Pink Tutu Universe”, so don’t miss out! That’s all from Emma today, lovelies… but stay tuned! We’re back in the same time and space next week.
