Hello darlings! It's your favourite pink-tutu-clad space explorer, Emma, and boy oh boy, do I have a whirlwind of a tale for you this week. This time, my cosmic adventures have landed me right here on planet Earth - specifically, in my lovely home county of Derbyshire, England! Yes, I've traded stardust for cobblestone and, much to my delight, it’s a total blast to be back.
Now, before you get your tutus in a twist, I know, I know – intergalactic travel can get a bit…well, exhausting. I always travel by spaceship (did you even expect me to go anywhere else?) – so getting around, especially between galaxies, is no walk in the park (and you wouldn't catch me walking anywhere when I can dance my way there, now would you?)
It was an early start for me this morning. Remember that big dance-off on the asteroid belt? That’s me. I took the crown in my new celestial pink tutu – dazzling in space. That sparkly celestial fabric – you won’t find that in any ordinary shop on this planet! You see, even after all my travels, a tutu remains my ultimate power tool, a beacon of pink and a promise of perfect pirouettes – whether I’m performing for an intergalactic audience or grabbing a latte with my cosmic crew.
It was an absolute joy to be performing to the sounds of the cosmic orchestra. We even had a little encore, because the applause was absolutely divine (and the tip I got from one of the galactic ambassadors made my interstellar tutu dreams come true!)
After that big show, I was buzzing. We always celebrate a good performance, right? That meant lots of cosmic champagne (it's pretty sparkly but the taste, well, slightly bitter for my delicate palette!), but my favourite part was definitely the celebratory dance in the spaceship. Let’s just say there was some impromptu ballet.
Speaking of the spaceship…imagine my utter surprise when I landed and realised my next performance wasn't just anywhere. It’s here in my beloved Derbyshire. I've got a fantastic evening show planned, showcasing my latest celestial inspired routine. You bet there will be a whole load of glittery costumes, feather boas, and I’m thinking pink feathers! I can’t wait to let those feathers flow under the stage lights!
And oh my goodness, I’m bursting to go shopping in Bakewell! You haven’t lived until you’ve experienced the shops on my little planet. Can't wait to get my hands on some real earthly pink tutus, the kind you can find tucked away in small vintage boutiques, or perhaps I’ll splurge at some high-end fashion houses in London. Just imagine: a true British designer tutu. Now, wouldn’t that be something to write home about? (Even if home, in my case, is, you know, orbiting somewhere near Vega.)
But wait…it gets even more fabulous! This evening I'm heading to the famous Royal Opera House. You know I'm obsessed with anything ballet-related! A classical ballet production like this just adds to the experience of my intergalactic travels. I love being able to see all the costumes in person, the elegance, and the passion from the dancers - swoon! It's just magic. There's something quite unique about a live ballet show. That's why I love seeing performances, even back home in the vastness of the universe. Of course, I do love getting to chat with the dancers about their favourite tutus after the show. They always ask me where I got my stunning galactic fabrics – shhh... don’t tell them, it’s my little secret!
My biggest joy, apart from performing and exploring, is of course... spreading the love of pink tutus! Every time I visit a planet, I get so excited to show everyone how incredible the tutu life can be. So, get ready to be swept off your feet, planet Earth – my mission is to make this world pink tutu obsessed!
It’s just me and my little pink tutu… but honestly, who needs more? It’s certainly making the trip back home a real pleasure! This magical ballet extravaganza is just the beginning!
Don’t forget, you can follow me on Instagram @EmmaPinkTutuWorld to see my space travels and latest performances – I’m always happy to hear your requests.
So, as they say here on your planet, have a smashing time!
Keep shining and twirling,
Emma
