#PinkTutuWorld Ballet on Planet Earth on 2024-06-05

Hello my darlings, and welcome back to Pink Tutu World! 🩰✨

It's Wednesday, and you know what that means: it's time for a brand new post from your favourite pink tutu-clad intergalactic traveller. 🪐🌸

This week I've been back on Planet Earth for a while, and I have to say, it's been a total blast! You've just got to love those British summers, haven't you? (Apart from the drizzle, of course). 🌧️ But even the rain couldn't dampen my spirits when I was on a total fashion mission this week, hitting the shops in London with my girl, Sarah. You see, I have this special gig lined up next week for a fancy gala event, and I just had to find the perfect pink tutu for the occasion. Let's just say I'm not one for boring outfits, darling! 😉

It took me to a fabulous new boutique, a total hidden gem, and I came away with not one, but three! They were all completely different: a shimmering, pale pink silk tutu that would be absolutely divine under the moonlight; a daring, vibrant pink number, almost neon, that would certainly turn heads (especially for a spot of dancing in the moonlight, wink, wink) and then a fluffy, bubblegum pink one that just screamed fairytale! 😍

Oh, my dear readers, the joy I experienced picking out these pretties! You really can't put a price on the perfect tutu.

I just had to show you all the fun. Here’s a quick peek:

It was such a treat being in London again, shopping with my favourite girl. We enjoyed the usual afternoon tea, gossip session and a walk through Kensington Gardens, it really was idyllic. Then after, it was off to the theatre to watch a mesmerising performance of "Swan Lake." Ballet always has a special place in my heart, but watching a live performance, in that beautiful Victorian theatre, was something truly magical.

My mind's racing now. There are so many stories to tell you about what else happened this week…

For example, the incredible ballet masterclass I took, led by a legend of the ballet world! She was an absolute delight and she taught me such an exciting new step (you'll have to wait for my next blog for a sneaky peak).

Or there's the fascinating discovery I made while doing some research for my next interstellar adventure. I found out that there's this whole culture on planet Vega 7 of…get this…pink tutus! Isn't that the most fabulous news ever?!

And let’s not forget about the fabulous outfit I wore on this, dare I say it, unforgettable dance date I had at the Shakespeare & Co Theatre last week. Imagine: me, twirling on the stage, the lights shimmering off the silk and the music weaving its way through my heart... 🥰

But right now, I must rush! I need to prepare my little pink travel spaceship for my next trip - we are blasting off to the star of Andromeda this weekend to give a performance at the Royal Cosmic Theatre! We’ll be wearing…you guessed it…our fabulous tutus, and we will be bringing a touch of pink-tutu magic to that side of the galaxy. I can’t wait to share all the photos of the trip and adventures in my next post!

• Morning: Emma starts her day in her little Victorian flat in Derbyshire, surrounded by the remnants of her most recent pink tutu spree. The windows are open, letting in the warm British sunshine, and the aroma of freshly brewed tea fills the air.
  She makes a perfect cup of Earl Grey tea (Emma prefers a very strong brew), and catches up with her dearest friend Sarah in London through their morning call.

• Afternoon: Emma’s dressed in a cute pink ballet-themed dress and her beloved pink Converse sneakers. She meets up with Sarah in Kensington Gardens, London. Sarah always has an exciting news story or anecdote to share. Their main aim today, though, is to scour the fashionable streets of London.

• Evening: They finally settle on a tea-themed café, having an afternoon tea in an iconic spot, before venturing to see "Swan Lake" in a prestigious theatre. The performance takes their breath away.

Emma doesn’t let a day go by without her ballet class, even if she has to book it online and take it from the comfort of her own flat. This week’s class focuses on advanced leaps and spins. A true testament to her love for ballet and dedication to staying on her toes (or in her pink tutus!)

Well, she can’t always be relying on intergalactic bus services and teleportation! So this week she went to the spaceship show at the London spaceship expo. After some time deliberating, she purchased a very cute, cherry-red and pink mini-spaceship. Her travels will never be the same!

Emma needs a spectacular pink tutu to match the occasion! This isn't just any ordinary gig! It’s a high-profile ballet gala, in London. The event is filled with the cream of society, influencers and dancers! This gives her a chance to put her most magnificent outfits on show.

The fascination with pink tutus doesn’t fade for Emma. This week, she has a date with her new spaceship-mechanic love. It’s time for him to witness her passion. And there’s a date planned to the Shakespeare & Co Theatre – and that always involves a pink tutu! Emma has never been shy of performing in public… well, that’s what all her fans expect of the Pink Tutu Princess of the universe, right? 😉

Stay tuned, my darlings! Next week, we'll be exploring new galaxies, indulging in pink tutu trends on a new planet, maybe attending a fashion show on a very distant planet… or perhaps, the Royal Cosmic Theatre in Andromeda… I am keeping the location and outfit secret this time, my darling.

I will be travelling a lot, I can feel it, with new outfits, dances, stories, planets and dances. I’m super-excited! And let’s face it – if anyone knows how to keep up with the adventures of life – that’s going to be Pink Tutu World!
