Hello darlings! It's Emma here, and let me tell you, it's been a whirlwind of tutus and space travel! 🪐 This week, I'm back on dear old Planet Earth, feeling the soft grass beneath my feet (a much needed change from spaceship carpets!) and breathing in the fresh Derbyshire air after an out-of-this-world journey.
But before we get to my galactic escapades, a quick peek at my calendar. Did you know today, 29th January 2025, is National Tartan Day? Talk about serendipity! It just so happens I've got a little surprise planned for you all. Just imagine - a tutu in the most fabulous tartans imaginable! 😉 It's going to be utterly divine!
Now, back to my intergalactic adventure! This time, it was a whirlwind trip to a delightful planet called Cosmosia. 💫 You wouldn't believe the beauty of this place – imagine giant iridescent clouds floating past lavender skies, rivers made of molten gold, and trees that burst with star-shaped blooms!
As soon as I arrived, I knew I had to experience their famous Cosmic Ballet. They even have an entire planet devoted to it – a breathtaking paradise of sparkling water fountains and glowing flora. It felt like a real-life ballet stage set! I waltzed into a performance held in the Great Celestial Theatre, where thousands of twinkling stars served as an exquisite backdrop. The performance itself? Let's just say I was spellbound. Imagine graceful dancers soaring through the air with gossamer wings, their bodies painting constellations with their every pirouette! 🤩
I just had to snap a few shots (after, of course, a quick outfit change into my celestial-themed tutu) – shimmering silk, dusted with stardust, and a flowing tulle skirt. I can't wait to share these cosmic photos with you! ✨
My journey was more than just cosmic ballet, though! Cosmosia's residents are big fans of pink and tutus, which I adored, naturally. Every shop had a selection of tutus in every imaginable shade of pink – it was heaven! There were also amazing shops filled with exquisite space-themed costumes – iridescent wings, twinkling galaxy-printed leggings, and shimmery nebula fabrics, perfect for a ballerina's dream!
Speaking of outfits, my Cosmosia look was a delight. Imagine, a delicate pastel pink tutu paired with a twinkling silver top, a glittering space-inspired hairpiece, and a sparkly, feather-trimmed, galaxy-printed cape. Oh, and naturally, some sparkling cosmic make-up! 🌟
This Cosmosia trip proved one thing: you don't need to leave Earth to discover amazing ballet experiences! I have a wonderful performance lined up at The Royal Opera House next week, featuring an innovative blend of classic ballet with modern contemporary dance – I'm thinking a sparkly sequined tutu, and a dramatic, theatrical look with lots of striking black and white for a little extra oomph.
But back to Cosmosia for a minute. While I was there, I had the most delightful encounter with a celestial being who shared my passion for the perfect tutu! 👑 She told me all about the history of tutus on Cosmosia - from their origins with flowing fabrics in iridescent hues to the modern-day celestial-inspired styles. It was a delightful afternoon of chats and sparkling laughter!
