Hello darlings! 🩰 Welcome back to Pink Tutu World, your weekly dose of all things pink, sparkly and utterly fabulous. It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new post! Today, we're diving right into a real-life fairytale: Ballet on Planet Earth!
As you all know, I'm a bit of a space-faring adventurer when it comes to my tutu travels. A trip to Earth is never dull, especially when the calendar flips to 11/11/2026! This date holds a special significance in the human world, but we'll get to that later.
Landing on Terra Firma: A British Ballerina's Delight
My latest voyage began with a graceful, interstellar jump, landing me in the charming city of Bath, nestled right in the heart of England (and what could be more quintessentially English than Bath, my lovelies?). You've probably heard of this ancient spa city before, as it boasts the stunning Roman Baths - remnants of a long-lost era.
After arriving at my plush boutique hotel, (everything about this place was dripping with floral prints, pink and floral wallpaper, you see), I donned my newest ensemble - a flowing cerise satin gown adorned with sparkling silver stars, and of course, my trusty feather boa (one cannot go wrong with a feather boa!). The perfect combination of sophistication and interstellar charm!
Now, every true fashionista knows that shopping is a non-negotiable part of any grand tour, and I am a fashionista, aren't I? (No need to answer!). This week, Bath's antique shops stole my heart. I found a real vintage beauty in the window display: a 1950s tutu in vibrant coral silk! My inner ballerina shrieked with joy. Imagine the delicate tulle, the swishy skirts, and that radiant colour!
Stepping onto the Stage: Ballet Bliss
Of course, my trip wouldn't be complete without a ballet show! I was thrilled to see the Royal Ballet performing Giselle at the Theatre Royal. The Theatre Royal is an architectural wonder in its own right.
And speaking of Giselle (aren't you glad we're back to ballet?), I fell in love with this tale of love, heartbreak, and the beauty of ethereal creatures! As you know, my darlings, the ballet is an exquisite expression of emotions through physical grace, and this story was a testament to its power!
I found myself truly swept away, the ballet company's performance filled with impeccable technique, breathtaking artistry and those dramatic emotions!
I even learned a bit more about the history of ballet and tutus! The early forms of ballet tutus, like the one worn by Giselle's first Act performance, had much longer and fuller skirts, giving them a magical and whimsical aura, but as the years went on, those skirts started to become more compact, leading to the romantic-era tutus.
It's so fascinating, isn't it? Ballet continues to evolve and surprise, yet it always returns to the fundamental principles of grace and artistic expression, a timeless dance of passion and beauty.
11/11/2026: A Celebration of Angels on Earth
Okay, now about that magical date, 11/11/2026. This particular day, in the human world, is often associated with wishes, intentions, and manifesting your desires. Many people believe it's a powerful day to focus on your goals, dreams and ambitions.
Now, I believe in the power of dreams! That's why my dream (my mission! My obsession!) is for everyone in the universe to embrace the beautiful magic of wearing a pink tutu!
To celebrate this powerful day, I am holding a cosmic ballet session. It’s going to be an epic celebration of all things beautiful!
It’s at the breathtaking Bath Abbey - its historical and spiritual atmosphere will add an ethereal energy to the celebration. Imagine the stained glass windows glowing, as we twirl and spin. Just a little touch of heaven!
There will be music, pink tutus (of course!), and plenty of dancing, twirling and celebrating all things pink, whimsical and sparkly!
Bringing The Pink Tutu Magic to Earth
There’s nothing like being amongst humans and seeing the spark of joy in their eyes. As a traveller in the infinite wonders of the galaxy, I'm continually on the hunt for new and exciting discoveries, and, I have a sneaky suspicion I’ll be leaving Bath with more stories to tell.
Don't forget to keep an eye out for my posts next week. Until then, wear your tutus with confidence, my dears, and may all your dreams be realised! Love you lots, Emma xx

Dress like a Star
A stylish pink tutu can add a pop of charm and personality to your look. You don’t have to be on stage, my dears, to unleash your inner ballerina!
Wear it Everywhere: Embrace that "it’s always the perfect occasion" attitude! For a night out, layer a black tank top and a vibrant pink tutu. Add some glitter for an extra touch of magic, of course!
Think outside the Box: A classic tulle tutu can also be repurposed for other occasions! Try a cute mini tutu as an alternative skirt for a festival look! It's chic, comfortable and surprisingly versatile.
Accessorize to Shine: Let’s face it, accessories make the outfit, darlings! Add pink sunglasses, a feather boa and sparkle for that fabulous statement. Remember - more is more!
Ballet-Inspired Fun:
Embrace ballet’s captivating artistry through these easy ideas:
Join a Ballet Class: This is for all levels and all ages! I even have ballet lessons with space explorers aboard my spaceship - but let's be honest, it’s way more fun with the twinkle of human starbursts on Planet Earth!
Explore Dance History: Every region has its fascinating dance heritage. Check out the history of your local dance studios! And who knows, maybe even write about it for your blog – because sharing your knowledge and inspiring others is essential for making the universe more pink, and thus more fantastic, one tutu at a time!
Be a Ballet Tourist: Plan a travel adventure around your favorite ballet companies, museums and theatre! (It may just happen that those companies are close to amazing pink tutu shops too - lucky you! Emma would approve!).
Support Local Performers: Find your local dance groups and enjoy a performance! Maybe try a workshop? Who knows - you might find your calling in ballet!
Pink Tutu Love:
Remember, dear readers: The world is your dance floor! Let's all embrace the magic of pink tutus and create a more fabulous, stylish and twirling universe together.
