Hello darlings, and welcome back to Pink Tutu World! Itās Wednesday, the day we take a little trip to my website, www.pink-tutu.com, for a spot of ballet chat, and today, my dears, weāre delving into the cosmos, into a world of sparkling stardust and galactic glamour, because today, oh today, is a very special day indeed!
Itās January the 6th, 2027, and I, your favourite pink tutu-clad intergalactic explorer, am touching down onā¦ Planet Earth!
It feels so good to be back on my home planet, to feel the familiar embrace of the Derbyshire wind and the reassuring rhythm of a good olā fashioned cuppa in a proper mug, you know the sort with the cute cat design.
Yes, after a whirlwind tour of a few celestial hot spots, I'm here, ready to tell you all about my adventures ā from space-age fashion to otherworldly ballet shows. I even snagged some fab outfits at a cosmically-chic market I found on Sirius B. More on that later!
First, the news that will send shivers of joy down your spines - the City of Stars, the shimmering spectacle that is * *The London Royal Ballet Theatre, is showing the utterly magnificent "Swan Lake".
And what do you know? It just happens to be the most glamorous ballet of all time, set to the most stunningly beautiful music.
Did you know the first "Swan Lake" premiere was a little bit of a flop? It just shows how opinions on fashion and beauty, just like everything in life, are ever-changing. Today, itās a staple of any balletomane's heart and every year the most exquisite swans come out to perform in this amazing show!
But, before I go into all the glitz and glamour, I must tell you about my adventures out in space.
This week, weāre travelling on a theme, and the theme, darlings, is pink!.
Yep, it's all about embracing that pink, the color of love, romance, andā¦ a tutu that will turn heads from here to Andromeda! I mean, who wouldnāt want to waltz across the milky way in a fab pink tutu? Honestly, the only place it wouldnāt look good is a funeral, although, you never know, a flash of pink might be exactly what someone needs on a day like that!
For this voyage, Iāve been sporting the most divine hot pink, custom-designed tulle masterpiece ā I even convinced my dear friend, the star of āCosmoās Dance Crewā Captain Stellar to take on a shimmering silver fabric cape with my design! You see, he knows a little something about getting your outfits in order, because his intergalactic crew needs to look their best during those choreographed spaceships routines.
Iām telling you, pink is more than just a color, it's an attitude, a whole cosmic energy that demands to be expressed! And, believe me, my dears, I was expressing it all across the cosmos!
Now, where were we? Oh yes, my celestial voyage! I'll give you the full story of my travels to Planet Earth, but I want to keep the best bits to myself for my newsletter! He showed me some seriously cool moves and how to spin a galactic spaceship to a wicked hip-hop beat! We even filmed a fun video, that Iāll share when I get to post number 1656, next week.
However, since this week is all about pink and Earth, I just had to pop in on my favourite local ballet class back in Derby, because after a few weeks of travelling Iād just got to shake those limbs! Did you know the Derbyshire County Ballet is an all-girl company? Their outfits this season were an awesome cherry pink with glittering turquoise tulle! They looked fab!
Then, off I went to grab the latest ballet magazines at the Derbyshire bookshop - theyāre stocking them for a whole month, and I canāt think of a better way to pass an afternoon than in the world of beautiful dancing and pink ballet shoes. This year theyāve even got a new series of tutus, but it's hard to top the classic pink ones.
Now, I have to rush off to The London Royal Ballet Theatre, for tonightās performance of "Swan Lakeā.

Well, you might not know this, but they are showing some amazing modern productions right now too, in fact, this month, theyāre even showing āCinderellaā in a super modern, yet somehow still super fairytale twist, on this beautiful new pink stage they got - imagine if we ever get to a day where we can get the ballet stage in the entire cosmos to all be pink! The dreams are out thereā¦
My bestest friend, Lily from @Lilylovesdance is joining me. She's got tickets to the performance, so Iām going to meet her at the entrance at 6 pm sharp, grab a glass of prosecco, maybe have a slice of cake before the performance (because the little dancerās gotta keep her strength up!), and we're going to dance the night away, dreaming of all things pink and beautiful. We are a right pair of ballet fanciers, donāt you think?
To finish off the week, Lily and I have the most fabulous night of pink-themed fashion shopping, weāll hit up every store in London on a mission to find the perfect pink shoes. Because it is essential, is it not, to wear the *most magnificent pink footwear possible? * What else could possibly go with our pink dresses for a fabulous Friday night on the town! And yes, we shall be parading around with the most impressive pink fluffy boas and some pink diamante eye-masks (because you know you have to get some extra glam for your shopping trip!).
Iāll be sure to take some photos, of course! Because whatās an intergalactic blogger without some pictures to showcase her pink fabulousness?!
