Pink Tutu World: Planet Earth Post #1742 - Ballet Under the Stars!

Wednesday 13th September 2028

Darling darlings,

How do you do? Have you been enjoying the glorious, technicolour chaos of my intergalactic escapades this week? Do keep those wonderful comments and suggestions flowing in, they truly do fuel my cosmic explorations, and you’re never gonna believe what’s just happened to your favourite pink tutu-clad traveller!

So, last time, I was just hopping off a rocket in that dazzlingly flamboyant place called Jupiter – I’m surprised it wasn't raining cocktails. Honestly, their 'space fashion' really is something! But all good things must end, even cosmic jaunts, and I found myself back on planet Earth with my beloved little travel tutus in tow – yes, I pack spare ones, naturally, because every adventure requires the perfect outfit!

Now, I'll be honest, sometimes the journey back to Earth can feel a little humdrum after the whirlwind of other planets. But oh no, darlings, this time, oh no no, it was simply heavenly! It wasn’t even the stunning sunset over Derbyshire that had me all starry-eyed this week
no, my heart was dancing a jig because 13th September marked the very day the prestigious “Ballet Under the Stars” event in London took place, and Emma – aka yours truly – was invited to grace its elegant lawns.

Before we embark on the divine details of this balletic heaven, I do have a wee confession
I haven’t yet found a proper intergalactic dance company in all my explorations, much to my dismay. Can you believe it? They’ve got spaceships, holographic projection rooms, alien dance instructors, but NO INTERGALACTIC BALLET COMPANY! Oh, the injustice of it all!

But, thankfully, Planet Earth doesn’t fail to impress. It really knows how to get me swept off my dancing feet. Back to those celestial delights
the ‘Ballet Under the Stars’ is this utterly fabulous affair held in a beautiful, star-filled park right in the middle of London. Imagine this, darlings – a magnificent open-air stage bathed in twinkling starlight, surrounded by twinkling audiences and the most delicious smell of freshly made popcorn and candied apples, and all accompanied by the soaring notes of Tchaikovsky's swan lake!

Speaking of “Swan Lake”, we did have a magnificent show that evening – “The Ballet Guild of London” were utterly phenomenal! I have to say, the performers in the “Swan Lake” dance suite stole the show with their perfect fluid movements – there were those signature graceful turns and lunges. All under the stars too. Sighs dreamily.

I confess I did spend quite a while mesmerized in the ‘Pink Champagne Bar’. It is so wonderful, the light dancing on the delicate pink glasses.

Now, naturally, your intrepid traveller couldn’t be without a sparkling outfit for the occasion. You simply couldn't let your girl down on the pinkest event of the year. Oh no! Not Emma! So, I adorned myself in my favourite baby pink, custom-designed, off-the-shoulder tulle dress (that matched my tutu, of course) adorned with silver sequined stars.

“Ballet Under the Stars” is absolutely worth every penny of your Earthly cash. A truly dazzling performance and the sheer glamour of a thousand stars. Oh my, did I mention the heavenly scent of lavender as I sauntered around? Absolutely enchanting!

Of course, as any fashion-savvy traveller knows, there’s always a chance to get a little bit of ‘Ballet Under the Stars’ magic back home with me. I’m going to see if I can incorporate some lavender into my future spaceship dĂ©cor
imagine a galaxy that smells as divine as a ballerina’s dreams.

After all the celestial spectacle and Champagne bar hopping, my appetite was quite literally soaring (my space travel is excellent exercise you see), and what could be more fitting than a midnight picnic beneath the stars? Luckily, one of the things I adore about “Ballet Under the Stars” is its beautiful park setting! So, I whipped out my signature pink gingham blanket, surrounded by twinkling lights, while nibbling on delightful cheese and grapes and savouring that incredible feeling of a night under a canopy of stars with nothing but the ballet on my mind.

Now, before you think that it’s been a glamorous holiday this week
think again! I’ve been super busy too. This blog is going from strength to strength and you darlings know I wouldn't have it any other way. In fact, between my intergalactic shenanigans and these grand performances, my social media has never been more popular! You know what this means, darlings, it means I've gotta be at the top of my game.

You may be wondering about my “fund your travels by ballet” plan. Oh, you are wonderful thinkers! Don't worry, my precious supporters, the 'Ballet Under the Stars' event saw your favourite tutu-wearing girl back on stage dancing my heart out – a whole show devoted to "Emma’s intergalactic tour". My newest performance includes an interpretive piece called "Cosmic Steps" – I'm truly blessed with an incredible ballet teacher here on planet Earth. And this means my bank account will soon be overflowing (thanks to you darlings!).

Now, to those of you reading this back home on planet Earth, take my advice - always make sure to wear something pretty to go to ballet. Whether it’s a simple pink outfit like my go-to favourite, a sparkly dress, or something completely wild and extravagant (the bolder, the better!), you’ve gotta show your best self. We want to encourage everyone to get in on the act - “pink tutus for every planet”, darlings! Think of how beautiful that would be, like a universal galaxy of pink, twirling tutu dancers - simply a magical dream come true, darling!

Anyway, that’s all from me this week. It’s time for me to polish my pointe shoes and start rehearsing for next week's big dance party. But first, off to the shop to find some delicious pink fluffy candy to enjoy
Don’t forget to check out Pink Tutu World next Wednesday - until then, happy twirling!

Love always, Emma xx
