As I stepped off the train (always the most romantic way to travel!) and breathed in the salty air, I felt a sprinkle of fairy dust settling on my cheeks. It was like a whisper of the stories and legends that cling to the iconic white cliffs that tower over this enchanting town. The sun glistened off the chalky white slopes, and I knew I had to capture it all on film - with, of course, a vibrant pink tutu for a pop of colour!

Even as I was watching, my toes were itching to tap out some moves in my little fairy tutu. I even managed to sneak a twirl or two on the way out!

Dover isn’t just about its iconic cliffs and historic charm. I also found some stunning stretches of coastline perfect for some ballet under the sun. The beach, with its golden sands, felt like a natural stage. As the sun kissed my skin, I took my trusty pink tutu and my portable barre, and had the best time ever practising my moves under the open sky. Who needs a studio when you have the ocean and the sun as your backdrop?

As the day came to an end, and the sky painted its masterpiece with hues of orange and pink, I couldn’t help but think how much Dover truly stole a piece of my heart. It’s a place that inspires wonder, reminds us to look for magic in the ordinary, and of course, to embrace the joy of a twirl in a dreamy pink tutu! I'm already dreaming of my next trip, this time I think a stay might be in order, complete with an afternoon of horseback riding along the cliffs (talk about fairytale!) and a visit to the charming cafes in the historic town centre.
