Hey lovelies! π
Itβs Emma here, your friendly neighbourhood pink tutu enthusiast, ready to whisk you away on another fabulous adventure. Today, I'm taking you with me to Bromsgrove, a charming little town in the heart of Worcestershire. And what's a better way to explore a new place than twirling around in a delightful purple tutu? π©°
I have to confess, I was drawn to Bromsgrove like a moth to a flame (or maybe more like a swan to a shimmering lake? π ). It seemed like the perfect blend of countryside serenity and historic charm, the kind of place that would inspire my inner ballerina to blossom. And Iβm happy to say it didn't disappoint!
I arrived in Bromsgrove in style, of course. This time, I decided to skip the train journey and experience a little old-school charm, which meant a scenic carriage ride from Derby, my home town. Now, I have to admit, there's something magical about gliding through the countryside, the gentle sway of the carriage and the whisper of wind in my ears β it definitely gets the creative juices flowing!
First stop was the historic Bromsgrove High Street. Imagine cobblestone streets lined with quaint shops, and I'm not talking about chain stores β Iβm talking unique, independent boutiques and antique shops that screamed βexplore me!β I even found a shop filled with gorgeous vintage dresses! Oh, my heart fluttered with delight! π
Next, I wandered into the bustling Bromsgrove Library, a beautiful building steeped in history and bursting with books, all neatly organised on shelves stretching high to the ceiling. A perfect spot to curl up with a good book, but alas, I had more exploring to do!
Speaking of history, Bromsgrove's historic church, St Johnβs Church, simply blew me away. Its beautiful stained glass windows filled with colour and stories from the past, whispered stories of faith and history. I swear, I felt the history come alive in that space!
But enough about history β time for some fresh air and a little dance! Bromsgrove Park was calling my name, with its picturesque pond and stunning floral displays. I spun, I twirled, and I twirled some more. Honestly, it felt so freeing, just me, my tutu, and a symphony of bird song! π¦πΆ
And before you think my day was over, think again! A local dance school had me stepping onto the floor, joining their energetic salsa class! It was hilarious! Trying salsa in my tutu and getting my moves on, and the students all loved it. They asked if they could try out some moves in tutus and I said "of course!" They all looked like ballerinas! My goal to make the world wear tutus is one step closer!
Of course, my Bromsgrove adventures werenβt complete without a taste of local flavour. So I indulged in a scrumptious afternoon tea at a delightful tea room, sipping on Earl Grey and savouring homemade cakes β absolute bliss! π
This purple tutu certainly added a sprinkle of magic to my Bromsgrove trip. Every place I went felt brighter, a little more cheerful, and definitely a whole lot more fun! And you know what? That's what I love about this crazy tutu journey. It opens doors to adventure, inspires creativity, and lets me share a little bit of joy with the world, one twirl at a time.
If you're looking for a charming town bursting with personality, add Bromsgrove to your list! And don't forget your tutu, it always adds a dash of colour and a touch of magic to every experience. π
So, whatβs next for the pink-tutu-wearing traveller? You'll have to stay tuned! π
Until next time,
Emma π©°
