Remember that time when I told you about my secret dream to ride a horse to ballet class? Well, it seems the universe is on my side because my little journey today had a definite horse-drawn vibe – not literal, of course, but a train ride is the next best thing! It felt so glamorous, especially as I squeezed onto the carriage with my big pink tulle skirt billowing around me. Just picture a picture-perfect pastel scene straight out of a Victorian novel, except with a hint of modern ballet magic thrown in for good measure! ✨
Ealing has always held a special place in my heart – it’s like a ballet sanctuary. There’s this beautiful theatre that’s just buzzing with dance energy, and even the pigeons on the street seem to have a graceful sway! I’m sure you all know by now how much I love a good performance. My eyes light up with every plié, every pirouette, every perfect jump. And let me tell you, the Ealing show was absolutely phenomenal!
This performance was extra special. I got to see this incredible ballerina – she was dressed in the most magnificent American-style tutu you ever did see, shimmering in a soft peachy pink hue that was absolutely mesmerising. It's fair to say that I was in awe! 🤩 You know how much I love pink tutus, but this was a new level of pink fabulousness! My heart almost skipped a beat! 💓
And guess what?! The whole performance was just breathtaking. I literally had goosebumps. It's the sort of performance you can't forget! I loved how they took us on a journey with every graceful movement and every poignant piece of music. The entire theatre was filled with such heartfelt passion that I almost started to cry (I managed to hold back the tears though - it would have ruined my perfect pink eyeliner!). 😅
But here's the best part: after the show, I finally managed to meet the beautiful ballerina, dressed in her spectacular tutu, and had a little chat! I told her how much I loved her performance and her amazing tutu. It turns out she’s from Derbyshire just like me – small world, right? 😊 We talked for ages about our love of pink tutus and she even told me a little secret about the design of her tutu (shhhh!). It's definitely going to be my inspiration for my next pink creation – watch this space, my dears! 😉
Talking of pink creations, I simply must show you my latest ballet-inspired outfit! It's an absolute stunner - a pink tutu paired with a tailored grey blazer and a cute pair of chunky pink boots. I added a sprinkle of pink shimmer on my eyelids to complete the look (can you tell that I love all things sparkly? It's my ultimate happy-making ingredient! ).
