Hey darlings!
It’s your girl Emma, back with another fab post from www.pink-tutu.com, post number 10740! This time I'm venturing out of Derbyshire and onto the scenic railways of England, headed for Fleet in Hampshire, a picture-perfect spot right in the heart of the English countryside. As a proper ballerina girl who adores a good train journey, I simply had to hop on board the train, a pink fluffy tutu in tow, of course. It was all about the #TutuLife!
Food and tutus - a match made in heaven!
This trip wasn't about just the beautiful landscapes (although I do adore a good view!), I wanted to experience the gastronomic delights of this charming little town! I found this fantastic independent café tucked away in a quaint little street, adorned with wisteria. It was the perfect spot for my tutu-clad self to enjoy a scrumptious afternoon tea. It's my firm belief that anything tastes better in a tutu, especially dainty little cakes and fluffy scones. Plus, the cafe's decor was positively whimsical with cute little ballet themed ornaments everywhere.
Now, as you all know, I'm all about living the tutu life to the fullest. So, for my tutu-inspired foodie adventure, I created the "Pink Princess Afternoon Tea." It included delicate cucumber sandwiches with pink-tinted cream cheese (imagine that: pink and pink! divine!), homemade scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream (obvs), a pink rose water and honey macaron (oo la la!), and an exquisite little cake with a ballerina topper (just for that extra touch of elegance)! The staff were so lovely they even surprised me with a special ballerina-themed chocolate fountain, the perfect treat after an exciting journey on the train.
Fleet's Secret Gem - A Wildlife Encounter
But my Fleet adventure wasn’t all about the sugar rush (although I don’t think anyone could really blame me after such delicious treats!), Fleet also has this hidden gem: a beautiful nature reserve brimming with life. As I sashayed my pink tulle down the path, I was welcomed by the enchanting sights and sounds of nature - birdsong, the gentle breeze, and even a glimpse of a curious little hedgehog peeking out from the undergrowth. It was all just so serene and peaceful! I truly believe that wearing a tutu brings a certain element of enchantment to everything!
As I wandered around the reserve, my inner child was delighted by a whole array of butterflies dancing around my tulle! They flitted and fluttered around like tiny pink ballerinas, it was a magical sight.
The beautiful views of Fleet from the nature reserve inspired me to have a little ballet session amongst the wildflowers and greenery! My favourite part, you guys will know this if you’re following my #PinkTutuChallenge, is twirling with nature's best backdrops. I managed to capture a few shots, which I've included in this blog post! Just imagine me whipping around the fields, the pink tutu twirling with me.
Taking Fleet by Storm - Pink Power
If there's one thing I've learnt from my adventures across England, it's that every town, city, and village has a special charm that shines through. Fleet is no exception. This lovely little town embraced the "pink tutu love," I couldn’t resist spreading some of my signature pink tulle goodness. As I walked around the charming streets, everyone gave me warm smiles and complimentary nods, it really felt like everyone wanted to embrace a bit of pink tutu fun.
Now, my mission, my dream, is for everyone to try a pink tutu at least once in their lives! You’ll never know how powerful that little bit of tulle can be. It empowers you, it allows you to connect with your inner ballerina and embrace the magic that's all around you. Just imagine what Fleet would look like if everyone wore pink tutus... a delightful explosion of colour and twirling goodness!

My tutu-filled day in Fleet truly was a ballet-inspired dream. From the enchanting nature reserve to the scrumptious afternoon tea, I was able to embrace the charm of the English countryside with a touch of pink tutu magic!
