Coulsdon Calling! - Blog Post #9277

Oh my darlings! You wouldn't believe the adventure I had in Coulsdon!

The train journey itself was a delightful experience. As you all know, I love travelling by train, particularly if it means I can sit by the window and watch the scenery whizz by. Of course, I had to glam up for the occasion. I wore a shimmering pink tutu with layers of tulle and sparkly embellishments, and topped it off with a jaunty pink feathered hat. It really turned heads, and the fellow passengers couldn't help but smile at the sight of a Pink Tutu Sparkle rolling through the carriage!

Arriving at Coulsdon, I was greeted with the bustling energy of a quaint English town. There was something delightful about the charm of the cobbled streets and traditional shops. I simply had to get myself a little souvenir to remember this lovely day. And where else could I possibly go but the local millinery shop? I snagged the most darling hat – a broad-brimmed pink straw number with a delicate floral embellishment.

After that, it was time to get to the heart of the matter – my performance at the local theatre! I was performing for a charity fundraising event, and let me tell you, I brought the house down!

The theatre was a classic Victorian building with plush red seats and a stage that felt almost magical. I arrived at the venue and had the most fabulous time backstage. It was pure chaos with everyone running around, trying to get ready. But even amidst all the excitement, everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

I made the stage my own with my captivating ballet-inspired routine, complete with pirouettes and impressive jumps. My finale involved a quick change, swapping my stage tutu for a stunning sparkly pink jumpsuit. It really brought the house down, and the crowd went wild with cheers and whistles!

I absolutely loved meeting all the lovely people of Coulsdon, too. They were all so kind and generous, and even the kids in the audience loved joining in with my dance routines! I felt the most heartwarming feeling, as I've found so many people who are completely on board with the idea of a pink tutu for everyone.

Later that evening, after my dazzling performance, I met a group of lovely ladies who invited me for dinner at a charming little pub called The Rose and Crown. We had the most delicious homemade fish and chips and, of course, we chatted endlessly about fashion and drag. These ladies were real tutu enthusiasts, and they loved hearing all about my life on the road and my mission to spread the joy of the pink tutu to the world. They even shared some of their favourite tutu moments – a wedding where everyone wore a tutu, a birthday party with a tutu theme, and even a flash mob where everyone surprised a friend by spontaneously dancing in pink tutus!

This trip has been truly unforgettable, but what I love most about being Pink Tutu Sparkles is the impact it has on others. It’s not just about me and the outfits I wear, it's about using the power of glitter and sparkle to spread joy and bring people together. Seeing people smile when they see me in my pink tutu – that's what makes it all worthwhile.

And let's not forget, darling, life is far too short for boring outfits! I encourage you to break out of your comfort zone and embrace the sheer wonder of a pink tutu! You'll feel like a princess, and you'll certainly make a statement!

Until next time, my dears!

Stay pink!

Love,

Pink Tutu Sparkle.
