Oh, and let's not forget the glorious afternoon tea I devoured, sandwiches and cakes all nestled between pink velvet cushions!
Now, arriving in Wishaw, a charming little town nestled in the heart of Scotland, is a true testament to the fact that sparkle knows no bounds, and glamour truly shines no matter where you go! My dazzling tutu, adorned with delicate sequined butterflies, was twirling through the air as I got out of the cab, my pink stilettos clicking against the cobblestones. I'm quite the sight to behold, wouldn't you agree?
Oh, and the locals? Absolutely lovely! A charming chap at the local cafe even shared his stories of the town’s fascinating history - it's all about coal mines and mining! Of course, I asked about any secret underground ballet performances (you never know, right?), but alas, he said he hadn't heard of any! A shame, truly, as this gorgeous old mining town needs a touch of sparkle! But fret not, darlings! Pink Tutu Sparkles is about to bring the sparkle and shine to the beautiful town of Wishaw. I've booked myself into the Wishaw Town Hall for a grand, glitzy show, and believe me, it’s going to be a spectacular celebration of everything pink and fabulous!

Oh, how I love being on the road! From performing for cheering crowds, meeting local residents who adore a pink tutu, and having delicious local snacks, there's no feeling like it! It all started so simply, you know? While studying science in Derbyshire, I fell in love with tutus for charity at the university’s ballet club. That pink tutu, it was love at first twirl, and from there, my destiny became clear: Pink Tutu Sparkles was born.
Of course, the scientist in me is still present - that's why, during the day, I’m busy in the lab testing the most fantastic, innovative fabrics! You can bet your bottom dollar those lab coats are all in various shades of pink! I never knew my love for fashion would become intertwined with my science background - it's truly a blend of artistry and science, wouldn’t you agree?

Here in Wishaw, I'm on a mission to make even the most reluctant Scotsman fall in love with the delightful twirl of a pink tutu! And believe me, my dear friends, when I get to twirling, even the grumpiest face cracks into a smile!
Dancing with the Locals!
I have a sneaking suspicion my upcoming Wishaw performance is going to be a sensation! Everyone I’ve met in town has been absolutely lovely, and the whispers I've heard of their love for their town and local traditions… oh, it’s truly a perfect setting for a delightful spectacle. I have even found a charming ballet school that’s offered to share their studio for a few impromptu ballet lessons with my dancers - imagine, the pink tutu spreading its wings even in ballet class!
Now, of course, I won't be doing all the twirling solo! I always travel with a troupe of the most fabulous, bubbly dancers, ready to spread some joy with their pink tutus and sparkling smiles. And trust me, darlings, they bring a level of glee and glitz to every stage they take!
Riding into the Sunset... on Horseback!
It's not all sequins and glitter for Pink Tutu Sparkles - you’ll find this queen exploring the wonders of the Scottish Highlands. The weather here in the Highlands can be quite fickle, but that's part of the charm. Yesterday, while on a tour of the scenic Highlands, we found ourselves caught in a gorgeous, romantic downpour, and as luck would have it, a charming farmer offered us a ride back to town… on his horse, naturally!
So, there we were, all bundled up in pink, splashing through puddles on a trusty steed. My fellow dancers, being city slickers, looked slightly worried but oh, how their eyes gleamed with wonder! A moment of true elegance amidst a Scottish sunset, I can tell you that, darlings! I may be a Pink Tutu Queen, but there's nothing like a good galloping horse to add a touch of the extraordinary!
