Tutu Tuesday in Cheadle Hulme Well, hello my darlings! It's Tutu Tuesday and I’m *living* for it! Today's been all about the glitter and twirls, because I’ve finally gotten to visit Cheadle Hulme – a proper haven for all things sparkly and tutu-licious! This fabulous town is buzzing with style. It’s basically *disco* on a Tuesday, right? Seriously, just you wait… but first, a little backstory: So, the idea of Tutu Tuesday started from this tiny, super cute snail, which we've affectionately nicknamed the **Disco Snail** (go check out #discosnail!). It’s basically the cutest little guy with all the right moves! You can find him lurking in Cheadle Hulme’s quaint little coffee shops, or hiding among the sunflowers in the local flower market. And if the Disco Snail’s vibe’s contagious, so is the magic of Tutu Tuesday in this beautiful little town. Where to Twirl in Cheadle Hulme: Here’s where my tutu-loving heart is set for the rest of the day:
* **The Cheadle Hulme Rose Garden:** This romantic gem boasts a dreamy fairytale setting. Just the perfect backdrop for my floaty tulle skirt (seriously, imagine a dreamy ballet sequence!). I'm planning on doing some spins with the petals whirling around me… you’ve got to have a bit of dramatic flare in your life, right?
* **The Cheadle Hulme Coffee Shop:** Seriously, you have got to check out the ā€˜Cheadle Hulme Cake' – it's all pink, glitter, and fondant, perfectly *extra* for a #tututuesday outing! Think ā€œprincess" and you’ll get it… because they even put edible sparkles on top! (Sorry for all the exclamation points! I’m just so excited… I really love the extra glitz!).
* **The Cheadle Hulme Vintage Emporium:** This charming boutique is a treasure trove of retro chic – with just the right blend of fashion and vintage finds. I can imagine styling the perfect Tutu Tuesday outfit with a sparkly belt and matching head band... Oh and, I have a sneaking suspicion this is where they make the *Cheadle Hulme Cake* too, (I spy with my little eye ….) but you’ll have to come and discover that for yourself. You’ll get your Instagram photos taken in front of a glittery background, in front of the super trendy and colourful boutique shopfronts! It's basically like a magical land for anyone who loves to shine and twirl.
* **The Cheadle Hulme Flower Market:** Every Friday it blooms to life! And, let's just say, this town doesn’t hold back when it comes to color! Every week, you'll see rainbows, the scent of wildflowers, and bouquets that will *truly* stop you in your tracks! The florists are a *must-see* in this adorable little town… so cute… (sorry, can't resist saying that!). But yeah, these guys totally have some magical touch with flowers (the most magical kind)!! This would be my ideal spot to put on a performance of ā€œPinkā€ the disco-inspired, ballet show I choreographed. Now, that would *definitely* get the ā€œdisco snailā€ grooving, right?! #discosnail What to Wear for Tutu Tuesday:
Here are a few #tututuesday ideas for the perfect look:
* **Pink Perfection:** I’m a pink obsessed dancer. It’s just such a sweet, charming and feminine hue... think of ballerinas swirling on a perfect pastel pink stage! And just imagine twirling through Cheadle Hulme in a pink and black tutu – it's almost *too* much fabulous! This is just the perfect vibe for the afternoon in Cheadle Hulme. Think about that vintage look, but make it Tutu Tuesday. So, my must-haves: A sparkly pink headband and, obviously, pink ballet pumps, for some disco-worthy glam. I’ve already planned on popping in a vintage clothing shop, to get a gorgeous pink bomber jacket... because who doesn’t want to stand out in Cheadle Hulme on #tututuesday?!
* **Glitter and Glamour:** Glitter isn’t just for New Year’s Eve. It’s for any day that ends with ā€œ-yā€! The glitter just elevates a good ol' disco vibe. So, maybe a tulle skirt with a disco ball print? Or a pink tulle skirt with holographic sparkle?! (It really makes a statement, trust me, on those sunlit summer days in the market).
* **Disco Ballerina Chic:** Who says a tutu has to be all pastel and flowers? You can totally give a Tutu a disco makeover! Imagine, sequins, sparkly fabrics... The perfect fit for that ā€œvintage, modernā€ style and I totally see that look with Cheadle Hulme’s charming cafe’s and boutiques! So, I'll throw in a classic black ballet tutu with gold sequined detail. I’m adding that to my ā€˜shopping-to-be-done’ list, because there’s got to be a shop somewhere around Cheadle Hulme that stocks these! And you know it!
* **Embrace Your Inner Princess:** This is the ultimate theme of Cheadle Hulme’s Tutu Tuesday: Be whoever you want to be! It's an invitation to unleash your inner sparkle and just have a *ball* – and there’s no better spot than the quaint and glamorous Cheadle Hulme. So go ahead, experiment with patterns, experiment with textures, embrace those sequins. And then, have a good ol' laugh as you twirl around a magical flower market. And yeah, make sure to keep your eyes out for the *Disco Snail*, you won’t regret it. Trust me.
