I’ve been keeping this day on my calendar for weeks now, and let me tell you, I’ve been racking my brain for the perfect Tutu Tuesday outfit. What's a girl to do? There's the classic, dreamy, fluffy, full-bodied tulle, so soft and light, you practically float! Or the ultra chic and modern minimalist tutu – sleek, sleek, sleek, you feel like a powerful ballerina ready to conquer the stage. But you know what? My heart is screaming for a splash of color this week, so I'm rocking the ultimate throwback, a bold, vintage tutu, full of sparkles and whimsy. Think rainbow tutus, feathered trims, and iridescent sequins – I'm gonna dazzle them!
This city's known for its deep roots in ballet and we're definitely seeing a lot of passion for the art form – a new ballet company just popped up last year and is making a splash, and even my niece, bless her heart, is now enrolled in ballet classes. What could be sweeter? The whole scene here just inspires creativity. I mean, come on, who can resist getting their twirl on when you're surrounded by so much artistic energy?
