Why I Love Tutu Tuesday
Every week I feel an extra little skip in my step because of Tutu Tuesday! This week is no different! What I love most is how it brings our dance community together. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to express our passion and love for all things dance while sharing the joy and inspiration with the rest of the world.
Tutu Tuesday is all about celebrating the magic of ballet. Let's all make a splash this week by dressing in our finest tutu creations - from the romantic tulle and delicate lace of a traditional romantic tutu to a contemporary tutu with a bold asymmetrical hemline, a touch of glitter, and some gorgeous, vibrant colors.
This week I’m rocking my classic, go-to romantic tutu. It’s just classic enough to take to class but special enough to grab some tea after with a friend. My tutu will pair perfectly with a fitted white bodysuit, ballet flats and my favorite soft knit sweater. It's my go-to comfort and style statement.
Make it your own, experiment! Don't be afraid to get creative with your own Tutu Tuesday ensemble! Pair your tutu with a cozy cardigan and leggings for a stylish day look. Then, dress it up with a sparkly belt, heels and a clutch for a glam night out. I've seen dancers wearing their tutus with everything from high-top sneakers to chic statement jewelry!
