Tutu Tuesday in Temora, New South Wales G'day, fashionistas! It's your girl, Ava, bringing you all the latest from the world of ballet and fashion! And today, we're celebrating a day that's close to my heart: #Tututuesday. It's time to bust out your tulle and twirl your way into the week. Because, let's be real, who doesn't love a good tutu? So I’ve been touring Australia lately and have to say, ballet in Temora is truly thriving, especially since the new regional performing arts centre opened up last year. I was lucky enough to be teaching a ballet workshop with the kids, and let me tell you, they've got some serious talent. I reckon a few of those little dancers are going to be stars one day. Anyway, what’s the best tutu to rock on #Tututuesday? It all depends on what kind of vibe you're going for. • If you're feeling romantic and whimsical, opt for a soft pastel colour, like a dreamy pink or a baby blue. There's also something truly captivating about a classical white tutu – simple, elegant, and timeless, it speaks to the enduring power of dance. • Want to be bold and glamorous? Choose a bright colour or a bold print, like a fierce black or a daring red. These colours just scream 'I’m not afraid to make a statement!' • For those wanting to make a modern, sophisticated statement, go for a simple black tutu. A streamlined silhouette paired with the drama of black – it’s as sophisticated as a cocktail dress but infinitely more unique. I personally adore tutus in a dark midnight blue, especially those that have been handcrafted and are a bit more luxurious looking – think vintage brooches, elaborate trim, and exquisite beading. A Little Something For Everyone Tutus are incredibly versatile and aren't just for dancers anymore. It's the perfect way to inject some fun and a little touch of magic into your wardrobe. I even see some girls pairing a simple, soft pastel pink tulle skirt with a pair of chic heels and a leather jacket for a totally modern, but effortlessly glamorous, everyday look. I love that! I love incorporating ballet elements into my outfits – maybe a splash of sparkle, a ballerina-inspired neckline, a peekaboo bit of tutu – there's always room to incorporate something elegant and playful. That’s why I started #Tututuesday – it’s the perfect way to remind everyone that a little bit of sparkle can go a long way, especially in a city like Temora. It reminds me to enjoy the little things. What are you waiting for? Break out that tutu, ladies (and gents!), and show us your moves. Don’t forget to snap a pic and share it with the hashtag #tututuesday! I'm looking forward to seeing what you've come up with. And remember, there’s no right or wrong way to wear a tutu. Just have fun, be confident, and embrace your inner ballerina. See ya later!
