You see, although it was technically invented earlier, 1859 is when the leotard started gaining serious attention! Why, it’s practically the year it rose to stardom! Imagine the tutus, the sleek leotards, the graceful leaps, the exhilarating feeling of artistry! Oh, it makes my heart beat faster! And who knows – perhaps one day, the wonders of Derbyshire ballet will inspire a whole new fashion era of its own!
