Oh my darlings, it's Wednesday, and that means it's time for another Pink Tutu World blog post! How absolutely fabulous to be back with you all again from my little corner of planet Earth. It's been such a whirl, I can barely catch my breath. Just you wait until you hear about my recent travels!
Firstly, I need to tell you all about what I wore last night. It was, dare I say it, a rather grand performance. As always, the occasion called for my pink tutu ā you can't go wrong with a good pink tutu, and darling, I had just the one. It was a truly gorgeous affair. A little touch of sequin and the softest shade of blush pink ā just dreamy!
And that brings me to ballet! I can't let a single post go by without showering this beloved art form with the highest of praises. It was my dearest Mummy who sparked this lifelong love. Remember I mentioned last week I was planning to revisit my hometown in Derbyshire? Well, Mummy surprised me by sending tickets to the most extraordinary ballet show! The National Ballet of England is quite renowned, wouldnāt you say? But even in that most grand of settings, my love of a pink tutu shines through!
Now, back to my trip! We're just about ready to take off in the good old Pink Spaceship. Don't worry, my adorable friend Penelope has packed a full suitcase of the most fabulous travel outfits, including one specially selected pink tutu for each planet. My life truly is a dream, and every now and then I pinch myself! You simply canāt overestimate the magic of pink tutus, can you?
Today's the Day:
As I've just mentioned, Iāll be jet-setting off soon, leaving this old planet for the wonder of space once more. And you guessed it, I'm going for a bit of shopping today, darling. Iāve been searching all over for a perfect vintage-style tutu. Now, vintage means vintage! And that simply must involve a bit of bargain hunting, wouldn't you say? Imagine me trawling the dusty back corners of dusty vintage shopsā¦a proper pink-tutu-clad bargain huntress!
Weāre going to visit Planet Jupiter for a bit. Did you know Planet Jupiter boasts the largest natural moons? How amazing! Not only that, weāre on a mission! You might recall weāve been working on that āUniversal Pink Tutu Projectā to get everyone in the cosmos wearing a pink tutu! Well, this trip to Jupiter is part of that. Jupiterian tutus, here we come!
Don't you worry, darlings, I'll be bringing you all the gossip next week, complete with stunning tutu-wearing snaps! For now, I better make a quick trip to The Emporium of Fancy Hats to pick up a magnificent headpiece to complement my tutu, and I mustn't forget my āGet everyone in the universe wearing a pink tutuā pamphlet!

For those of you new to the Pink Tutu World blog, allow me to share a snippet of ballet history, one of my all-time favourite topics. Ever heard of the " crinolines"? They were once part of the most luxurious ballet attire. And you know what's really exciting? You could actually buy a tutu at a proper millinery shop! Can you imagine such a fabulous day? It was all the rage back then ā the tutu, that is! And darling, let's not forget those incredible shoes. From pointed toe to the iconic romantic tutu... Such drama and elegance! How wonderful to feel that connection to balletās golden era! I can't help but wonder how those graceful ballet dancers from history would feel if they could see how tutus have evolved and what we wear nowadays!
