Pink Tutu World: Planet Earth Post #1089 - Ballet On Planet Earth, 2016-03-09

Hello darlings! It's Emma here, back from a whirlwind intergalactic tour that landed me smack-dab on Planet Earth - and what a fabulous journey it was! Let's be honest, I always get a little bit starstruck when I'm back on my home planet, but today it was the most thrilling trip of all.

Ballet: The Perfect Intergalactic Escape

My latest spacefaring adventure was sparked by an invitation from the Grand Imperial Ballet Guild of Kepler-186f. Now, I've seen my fair share of spectacular ballets across the galaxy, but this was something truly special. A celestial waltz, as the saying goes! It was all set in a celestial dome filled with shimmering, holographic stars and sparkling stardust, while the dancers floated and pirouetted like mythical beings amongst the celestial bodies!

The most magical moment came during the pas de deux, where a stunning male ballerina (he had a pink tutu, of course! What's a galaxy without a little bit of pink, am I right?) and a beautiful, graceful lady, performed a dance so breathtaking, I thought I would float right up into space!

Speaking of floating… You know how much I love those little intergalactic spaceships that double as personal dressing rooms, right? Well, this one was a pink dream! Honestly, darlings, I think I've officially found my new favourite place in the galaxy to apply my make-up, and if it wasn’t a personal vessel for me to use on my journeys across the cosmos, I’d probably end up stealing it. Don’t tell my designer… But you know me, it’s all about those little details and what truly completes a look! Oh, and did I mention it comes equipped with its own onboard fashion show, complete with a swirling display of pink tutus, a cosmic catwalk and an audience of little pink-tuted aliens with little light up pink stars in their hair? Because it does!

After the show, I took a private tour of their planet. And you won't believe this - the ballet studios are absolutely magnificent! It’s like they put a big pink space bubble around a real earth theatre. Can you imagine being inside a giant pink tutu while doing ballet? Honestly, it was the perfect mix of magic and ballet, just like how I like my spaceship voyages!

Planet Earth: Where Fashion Never Sleeps

Now, back on Earth, my excitement knows no bounds, darlings! It was such a blast exploring some of my favourite haunts in Derbyshire. It just so happens today was the 9th of March and, as every loyal follower of my Pink Tutu World blog knows, that means only one thing: "It's the beginning of the new spring ballet season!ā€

I even popped into the Derbyshire County Council headquarters for a sneak peek at the ballet calendar - how much more delightful could it possibly get? From "Sleeping Beauty" at the Royal Ballet to "Giselle" with Birmingham Royal Ballet - what a phenomenal start to the new ballet season! It’s hard not to feel a little bit nostalgic, thinking of all the magnificent ballerinas and performers I’ve met from all corners of the Earth and all corners of the universe!

After a ballet performance on Earth, there’s nothing quite like getting together with fellow tutu-lovers and grabbing a cheeky afternoon tea at a quintessentially British cafe. It was delightful, darling! I spotted an amazing, sparkly silver-sequinned tutu. Of course, I couldn't resist! Now it will be joining my ever-expanding tutu collection. I simply adore a new sparkly tulle accessory, don't you? It will be the perfect look for a night out at the opera! Speaking of fashion, darling, you should see the fantastic display in Selfridges’ window at Oxford Street!

My Mission: Pink Tutus For All!

After all my celestial adventures and fabulous fashion escapades, I have to say - Earth is certainly still a captivating and inspiring place for this fashionista on a mission! Just remember darlings, my goal is simple - to bring the joy, beauty and whimsical fun of a pink tutu to every corner of the galaxy, starting with all my followers on Planet Earth. You have my promise!

So, go forth and twirl your way into this glorious new spring ballet season, darlings! I'll be here, watching the world go by from my little pink space-tutu sanctuary and planning my next incredible, space-hopping adventure. But rest assured, I'll be back next week to bring you more tales from Pink Tutu World.

Yours in tulle and sparkle, Emma

Fashion Speaking of fashion, the one thing you should know about Earthlings, is they're quite obsessed with all things fashion. But don’t worry darling, because pink is always on trend, I have found some amazing looks, with plenty of pink-tutu inspiration!

Here’s my pick of Earth’s best in ā€˜tutu fashion’, for when you can't go out and dance, but can feel the inspiration of the most wonderful ballet in the world - pink tutu!

On this Wednesday In the meantime, it's Wednesday and you know what that means - another day to share some gorgeous ballet news, so check out my ballet tips and ballet tricks and of course, the latest on tutus. I’ve already found some absolutely incredible sparkly pink ballerina shoes, so get ready for a gorgeous new tutu-inspired wardrobe! I think a good sparkly pair of pink shoes looks great with anything - with any outfit and in any color! Even white, especially white! You can just throw on a simple pair of pink tulle ballet shoes and you’ll be ready to head to any performance, in the most luxurious way imaginable. Even for an ordinary Tuesday lunch with friends, you can wear it, but only if your friends can match your pink shoe glam, of course.

Fashion is everything I do enjoy my shopping! It's quite amazing when you think about all the gorgeous stores and everything to see in every corner. There are just so many wonderful shopping districts in every city and village across the entire planet, so make sure to check out some local retailers or a new high-street retailer near you and give your wardrobe a little bit of a boost this week.
