Pink Tutu World: Planet Earth, 30th March 2016 - Post No. 1092!

Hello my darling dears! It’s Wednesday again, which means a brand-new blog post from yours truly! And oh, my darlings, this one’s going to be a real treat, because… I’ve landed on Planet Earth again!

It's hard to believe, but my third intergalactic journey this month alone has landed me back here. But honestly, you can’t really blame me for my frequent Earth visits. There’s just so much to see and do! This time, I’m channeling my inner fashionista, getting seriously lost in London’s iconic department stores and taking in the iconic Royal Ballet’s production of ā€œLa Bayadereā€ at Covent Garden! Talk about a ballet that truly sparkles – there’s so much beautiful dancing and stunning costumes. If I was feeling even slightly more adventurous, I would have sported a shimmering, hot-pink, sparkly tutu, to match the show’s intricate patterns and vibrant colors!

Anyway, enough about the London delights! As you lovely lot know, I’m here to give you a behind the scenes peek at what happens beyond the planet, to spread a little joy, sprinkle some fashion flair, and share some pink tutu-inspired inspiration with all my darlings.

This time around, my intergalactic travel schedule took me to Planet Xanadoria, where I performed ā€œSwan Lakeā€ in front of a crowd of cheering, tutu-loving aliens (the green ones really appreciated the tutus – who knew?) – which literally catapulted me straight back to Earth in my fabulous spaceship! (Isn't my spaceship the absolute best? I custom-designed it with all the frills and fancies! Everything is pink, naturally!)

And before I even get to my sartorial exploits – have you guys seen my new pink feather boa?! This bad boy is the absolute perfect addition to any space-age ballet performance or simply for a dash of dramatic flare on your daily shopping trip to Marks and Spencers – that's M&S to you British lovelies. But I must admit I couldn’t resist treating myself to yet another fabulous pink tutu! The best thing about being a professional dancer is getting to try out all the amazing dancewear, and that includes piles of gorgeous tutus! The pink tutu I bought is definitely in the running for my absolute favorite with the most adorable tiny silver stars shimmering across its surface – I even wore it during my ā€œSwan Lakeā€ performance! (Spoiler alert: the alien audience went wild!).

But don’t worry, I’m still on a pink tutu mission – I'm aiming to get the entire galaxy decked out in fabulous pink tutus, and there's a new planet every day, isn’t it wonderful! And who knows? Maybe by next year, pink tutus will be fashionable across the universe. I could only dream, darling. Could only dream.

A little piece of home: Even on my intergalactic journeys, I’ve got to admit I miss Planet Earth terribly, you know! Back home in Derbyshire, life moves a bit slower. My parents are absolutely thrilled by my tutu-ing adventures around the universe and have promised to visit me on Planet Xylon on my next trip. Honestly, they’re the absolute best and I wouldn’t be half as adventurous without their support – they're both totally behind my pink tutu world vision!

Speaking of Pink…: Before I finish this post, I simply must share my absolute favorite pink-themed spot back home, darling. It’s an adorable cafĆ©, named ā€˜Pink Teacups’, that makes the most delectable pink cake in the world. There’s literally no better way to start your Wednesday morning in Derbyshire! Don’t even get me started on the rose-flavored tea! Absolute perfection.

Now, you lovely lot must go and have a blast with your Wednesday activities. Remember to keep smiling, to stay positive and to keep spreading joy! Because that's what it's all about. And most importantly, never, ever be afraid to express your own uniqueness in fabulous, pink tutus, just like me! And maybe one day, we can all wear our pink tutus together and make Planet Earth even more pink and sparkly. Until next Wednesday my sweet dears!

And oh! Remember to catch me at www.pink-tutu.com. You won’t regret it!
