As you all know, I simply cannot resist a good ballet performance – and believe me, they are popping up everywhere this month, with International Ballet Day fast approaching (and my tutu is definitely going to be out on the town to celebrate!).
So, this Wednesday, I've been swirling and spinning my way through Derbyshire – yes, that Derbyshire, my home county – where I popped by a stunning ballet show put on by the absolutely divine Derbyshire Ballet Company. Let me tell you, the artistry on stage was positively breath-taking! These talented dancers truly understood the language of movement, and their performances were an enchanting celebration of human emotion and graceful beauty. It was a true feast for the senses, and my heart literally skipped a beat or two during those dazzling pirouettes and graceful arabesques!
I'm absolutely enamoured with the ballet performances I've seen here, especially the incredible attention to detail that goes into the costumes – oh, the TUTUS! They are simply glorious, don't you think? The artistry and the vibrant hues! I swear, some of these tutus were so intricate they looked like they belonged in a museum! Sighs dreamily. I have a little confession though – I might have accidentally slipped a few extra pink tutus into my travel bag before returning to my spaceship. Just to be prepared, of course!

Because yes, you heard it right, I found some utterly gorgeous things on my whirlwind visit to Derby's trendy high street!
