Hello my darling darlings! Emma here, your favourite tutu-loving, intergalactic fashionista, bringing you another week of sparkle and twirls from my travels around the cosmos!
This Wednesday, I'm shimmying back to Planet Earth after an absolutely divine trip to the enchanting planet of Aquarina - did I tell you I have a thing for planets named after water? There’s something so elegant and ethereal about them, much like a beautiful ballet sequence! But anyway, enough about me. What have you been up to, darlings?
It’s Wednesday, the 20th of September, 2017 here on planet Earth, which means it's the perfect day to slip into something a little fabulous (in my case, a lusciously pink tutu with holographic sequins - you'll see it in the photo below!), pour a cup of Earl Grey tea, and catch up on all the dazzling news from Pink Tutu World.
From Planet Aquarina, With LoveSpeaking of divine experiences, my trip to Aquarina was like a dream sequence from a fantastical ballet - picture glittering bioluminescent coral reefs in shimmering colours that rival the most beautiful ballet costumes, and aquatic creatures doing pirouettes like you wouldn't believe! Oh, the artistry!
I had the chance to see the most amazing underwater performance I've ever witnessed! The "Symphony of the Sea" featured dancers with bioluminescent jellyfish wings - you have no idea how mesmerising that looked - they were gracefully gliding through the underwater city. Truly, the highlight of my trip. I can't stop dreaming of these beautiful beings - their movements were as elegant and captivating as anything I've ever seen in the galaxy.
I couldn't leave Aquarina without some shopping! I scooped up a few gorgeous coral-inspired outfits for my wardrobe, with bioluminescent patterns woven into the fabrics - it's so on-trend right now, darling. I even got a pair of coral reef shoes, they're divine, and I just can’t wait to break them in on a cosmic ballet tour.
Ballet Fashion Week: A ReminderSpeaking of cosmic ballet tours, did you know that next month, darling, it’s Intergalactic Ballet Fashion Week? It's going to be held in Andromeda - I am absolutely going to be there! The cosmic fashion shows are out of this world. Literally. If you are thinking of joining me, send me a tweet at @EmmaPinkTutu and we can make plans to be the most fabulous ballet crew at Andromeda Fashion Week.
Intergalactic Ballet Fashion Week always features a spectacular pink-tutu themed parade - I will have a new, special edition Pink Tutu creation unveiled. My designer has outdone herself this year - It will be unveiled to the world, along with the other galaxy-famous tutu-makers at the launch of this magnificent event in October! I simply cannot wait!
I know you all love to look fabulous as much as I do. To keep up-to-date with all the fabulous fashion in Pink Tutu World, sign up to the Pink Tutu World Newsletter! There are also some discount vouchers in every newsletter. You’ll find them on the link on the home page of the www.pink-tutu.com website.
Planet Earth Updates: Let's Chat FashionWhile I was away, did you see Royal Ballet’s amazing production of "Giselle" at the Royal Opera House, darlings? I just couldn’t go this time, because I had my galactic travels booked! If anyone saw it please let me know what you thought! Do let me know if you went to the "Giselle" opening performance on the 19th of September and tell me all about it!
Also, The Bolshoi Ballet are coming to London this September. Have you got your tickets? What are your thoughts on the Bolshoi?
Now, back on the topic of planet Earth - what are you all wearing? I’ve heard a lot of excitement about this retro 80’s fashion trend, with lots of fluorescent pinks and colours. This really is one for all of us, and makes wearing a pink tutu easy. And, we all love tutu chic, right? I adore all these colourful bright pink neon trends, and am seeing a lot of them about right now, and even spotting some fabulous tutus out and about!
If you're not sure what to wear for your next outing, consider the most recent trends and don't be afraid to put a twist on the classics. Think vibrant pinks, bold prints and glitter! (Never too much glitter.) I've got a few pink tutu outfits ready for my upcoming performances at the planet Earth venues. What can I say, my tutus really are the most fabulous on Earth, if you can imagine.
Back to Ballet PerformancesYou'll be excited to hear that after a truly fantastic Aquarina trip I am now planning a ballet extravaganza on Earth in a few weeks. I'll be dancing in a local town on planet Earth in the UK - and this time I'm doing a ballet show with my best friend. My very own special "double bill" ballet will be hitting a Derbyshire theater stage at the end of this month. This is going to be my very first ever ‘Emma and Lily' production and we are very excited to get this off the ground! If you're interested in coming along, all details will be on the www.pink-tutu.com website next week. I cannot wait to share this with you, my darlings.
But, in the meantime, what are your ballet plans for this week? Did you visit any dance studios or see any dance shows or classes? If so, what did you think? Remember, there are also links on the www.pink-tutu.com site to every dance studio on the planet, so please check out those, and don’t forget, if you are taking up dance, or have found a fabulous new studio on Earth - please tell me all about it in the comments.
Oh, before I go, have you checked out my brand new YouTube Channel yet? Pink Tutu World TV. You'll find video clips, fashion tips and my fabulous choreography! Please check out my recent Pink Tutu Universe's Got Talent! series, I just launched this. It is packed with fun! All my followers were asked to send in their talents to be part of the competition, and it is now live! Do come and check it out on Pink Tutu World TV.
It's time for me to get ready to dance - I have to practise the routines for "Emma and Lily". This month has been packed, so you know I will need my special pink ballet shoe cushions. I swear by these. No dancer, even an intergalactic ballerina like me, can survive without them! I am also off to a tutu fitting - this year’s "Emma and Lily" tutu is extra-special!
Until next week my gorgeous darlings, love and hugs (and, of course, all the pink tutus you can dream of!)
**Love,
Emma xoxo**
