Pink Tutu World: Ballet on Planet Earth #1189 (Wednesday 7th February, 2018)

Darling, darling, darling, what a fabulous week it’s been!

It’s Wednesday morning and I’m typing this whilst wearing a gorgeous new pink tutu. I simply had to buy it after my rather glamorous visit to planet Zarg. More on that later.

For now, let me share some insights into my recent adventure… and what’s coming up. As you know, my mission is to bring the joy of tutus to every corner of the galaxy and I’m happy to report things are really starting to take off… especially on planet Earth, my favourite place in the universe.

Planet Earth, the place of my birth, Derbyshire, to be precise, is simply bubbling over with excitement about my blog. And my YouTube videos. Did I mention the ā€œDance of the Sparkling Unicornsā€ tutorial? It's gone viral! All because of my darling friends from Planet Earth (I feel so lucky they love tutus just as much as I do!)

So much is happening on my planet! Let’s chat.

Planet Earth - My Adventures:

My latest dance adventure? You bet! And my planet Earth blog ( www.pink-tutu.com )is overflowing with amazing experiences… A few highlights, darlings:

  • My recent show - The Royal Ballet: "Giselle" at the Royal Opera House, London (my favourite place in the world!) Oh, darling, I do love watching a good ballet performance - those ballerinas are simply sensational. Especially as they always wear gorgeous tutus! (Don't forget that 'The tutu' is just a piece of history on planet Earth: In the 1840's they first appeared and in the Victorian Era they were really made into a big deal. And they look simply delightful at a dance. If you've ever worn a tutu, you’ll know what I mean. That feeling… *sigh...)

London was simply divine, as always. The atmosphere was pure magic. As my performance fee went directly into my London spending account (how could I not!), it gave me a wonderful excuse to indulge in a little bit of retail therapy. I even spotted a darling pink beret and had to get it - I simply had to. I look so chic in it. I couldn’t help but wonder, if I could travel the universe in style like this: in a pink tutu and a pink beret. So very… "French Riviera chic." You understand!

Planet Earth - The Buzz

It’s been so busy here… but wonderful. You're not going to believe this - my planet Earth YouTube channel "The Pink Tutu Channel" is absolutely going crazy! Lots of new subscribers, and lots of shares!

But here’s a bit of news… it isn't just Planet Earth that’s gone pink. Planet Zarg, well… I thought it would be difficult to convert these Zargonians but not a bit of it! You can see why my favourite travel destination is now Planet Earth, but now they're up there too! Oh my, I’m truly going pink!

But what does Planet Zarg have to offer?

It's the world of Zargonian music… their musical dance and a little bit of history for you my planet Earth blog readers - the word 'tutu' actually originated from the dance steps "tu-tu". That means 'to kick’ on the planet of Zarg. I can’t imagine a tutu that you can kick. How fabulous would that be! Well you know that would be my style…

Well darling, this planet was simply divine! They have such fascinating clothes (I can't wait to tell you all about them!) Their history of tutus… well... just you wait. I can't reveal it all, darlings. (Just saying - the Zargonians can be very secretive). All I can say is: Zarg is the home of ā€œThe Pink Zargā€ (You guessed it – a huge ball of pure pink… the largest pink sphere in the universe! Gorgeous!) and ā€œThe Glitter Cave of Zarg,ā€ a truly spectacular sparkly creation that would make any tutu look extra dazzling… (you'll want to check it out on your own journey there! I’m still raving about it). I can’t wait to share some of Zarg's fabulousness with you. More soon...

*Planet Earth - Ballet in the City: *

Speaking of tutus on Earth - Did you catch The Bolshoi’s Swan Lake performance at the Barbican Center? Those swan-inspired tutus are pure magic (I managed to nab a fantastic front row seat!) and, for the first time in ages, they’ve redesigned the final scene – it’s dazzling! It seems the Bolshoi have embraced Pink too – they’re doing a great job with that. More Pink! (Let's not forget my 'The Pink Tutu' dance troupe… more about them later…)

I really should head to the Royal Ballet School at the end of February… I simply must check out the students' latest tutu creations (you all know, that's my favourite part of each ballet performance!). Their work always leaves me spellbound - how did they get so much glitter and beauty onto the tulle?! Honestly - so creative. You'd be surprised how inspiring some of these ballet schools are… but you won't be surprised to hear it involves pink tutus and lots of pink sparkly bits…

Oh, how I love that wonderful feeling when I see the most gorgeous pink tutus, and so beautifully designed – I really do believe there’s a little bit of fairy magic involved. And lots of practice... you've got to practice, darling, so that you'll look absolutely flawless - like a beautiful swan in your pink tutu!

But what's this? You've already guessed… a hint for what I'll be writing about in my next blog, my lovelies: ā€œ The World of Pink Tutus and its magical dance steps!ā€. Now that's a dance to be proud of, darling.

So what’s next?
