Pink Tutu World: Ballet on Planet Earth, 12th December 2018 (Post #1233)

Hello, my darling tutulettes! It’s Emma here, bringing you all the latest news from my whirlwind travels through the cosmos! I hope you're all doing splendidly in your own little corners of the universe!

It's been quite a while since I last checked in from good old Planet Earth, what with all the jetsetting and galaxy-hopping I've been up to. But as always, my dear readers, I've been religiously sticking to my weekly posting schedule - because spreading the gospel of the pink tutu knows no boundaries, even those set by the cosmic dust cloud!

Speaking of which, you might be wondering why I've been back on good old Earth. Well, darling, my reason is quite simple: ballet. You know how much I adore it! And Earth has the most divine ballet scene you can imagine. There's something for everyone, from the majestic and traditional performances to the daring and experimental. Plus, you simply can't beat a night out at the theatre – all the glitz, the glamour, the champagne... (Don't tell my mum I said that, she wouldn't be too thrilled!)

So, what’s been happening in my Earthly orbit this week? Well, the 12th of December is a rather special date. You see, it was on this very day in 1823, right here on Planet Earth, that the first performance of "A Christmas Carol" took place. Who would have thought a classic like that started on a date just like this! Isn’t it fabulous how the world of arts and performance is always full of these lovely little historic titbits? This was also the day in 1962 that John Glenn was awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor - he became the first American to orbit Earth! All these incredible achievements happened on the 12th of December, what a day for the history books!

But before we get lost in historical delights, let’s talk about the most important thing – fashion!

As always, the shops in London were bursting with dazzling new arrivals! My favourite designer (let’s be honest, I have a few, who doesn’t?!) has a fabulous collection inspired by Russian folk dances! The colour palette is a glorious kaleidoscope of deep emerald, royal blue and dazzling crimson. So rich! Naturally, I just had to get myself a fabulous emerald green maxi dress - it's just perfect for twirling through a crowded market, wouldn’t you say? I can imagine the envious looks I’ll get…

Oh, and I spotted a new collection of tutus - the perfect shade of baby pink! Now, darling tutulettes, I simply cannot let such a delightful piece of fashion pass me by, and I certainly can't go on this little planet tour without it. Just you wait, I’ll be showcasing it on my socials for the entire galaxy to see! (And who knows, maybe one day even you, my dears, will get to enjoy a little slice of pink tutu heaven on your own planet. Just stay tuned!)

So, with my brand new tutus packed and my suitcase brimming with enough glitter and sequins to blind an entire intergalactic fleet, I'm off to explore the streets of London again! There are countless adventures to be had, and I’m determined to fill my blog with the brightest, most fun, most fabulously fashionable memories possible.

After all, isn’t that what life's all about? It's about twirling through galaxies, radiating pink and bringing a little sparkle wherever we go! I believe it's time we spread a bit of joy, wouldn’t you agree? And let’s be honest, there’s no better way to do it than in a gorgeous pink tutu.

So, stay tuned, my dearest tutulettes, as I bring you all the juicy details about my escapades right here on Planet Earth - from the latest trends to the most inspiring stories, all told through the magical lens of my own little pink tutu!

Until next week, remember - there's nothing a pink tutu can't do!

Love,

Emma XOXO www.pink-tutu.com
