Welcome back to Pink Tutu World! I'm so thrilled to be back with you all on planet Earth for another Wednesday blog post! You know how much I love travelling around the universe, and today's blog post is extra special because I'm squealing with excitement about a trip I recently took to a place I've always dreamed of visiting: Balletland!
I mean, honestly, what's a pink-tutu-loving girl to do but spend a whole week immersed in the magical world of ballet?! It's like my soul just couldn't handle being anywhere else, especially when my journey took me to Balletland on 2019-07-03.
As you know, I absolutely adore a good tutu - and the best ones in the galaxy are right there, in the heart of Balletland. It was like every sparkly dream I've ever had come true! Imagine acres of glorious pink tulle, flowing fabrics, and intricate embroidery, all neatly arranged in a world devoted to this glorious garment. And the shoes! Let's not forget about the shoes! I was a complete giddy fool, you know? Just the slightest giggle would escape my lips every time I picked up another gorgeous, pointe-perfect creation! 🩰
Now, let's not forget about my Balletland wardrobe! Naturally, I packed a suitcase bursting with pink tulle – you simply cannot overestimate the sheer brilliance of a pink tutu on another planet - and a collection of dazzling sequin tops. I even wore my new custom-designed pink sequined spacesuit - it sparkles so brightly under the intergalactic lights! 💫
After landing in Balletland, the first thing I did, of course, was find a fabulous ballet shop and get myself kitted out in the most exquisite tutu and pointe shoes – they are just gorgeous and feel absolutely divine to wear. Trust me, these are NOT your ordinary store-bought tutu and shoes!
Now, where would I be if I didn't take a proper ballet class? Balletland is brimming with beautiful studios - all of them shimmering in pastel shades and smelling wonderfully of pine and freshly polished wood flooring. 🌳 And let me tell you, the instructors there are simply amazing! They really took me back to my early ballet training, focusing on perfect posture, elegant arm movements, and precise footwork. I have to say, being surrounded by so much grace and beauty had a real uplifting effect on my soul. ✨
But let’s talk about the real highlight of my Balletland adventure - the shows! Oh my word, these were truly exceptional. Every performance was absolutely jaw-droppingly spectacular. I even had a lovely chat with the artistic director at one of the shows; it turns out she's been a big fan of Pink Tutu World since my planet Earth posts went live! Such a delightful meeting!
She told me how proud she was to see how much I am trying to get everyone - on every planet, in every universe, wearing a pink tutu. And it got me thinking... Isn’t that an awesome goal? It’s a dream to make ballet a truly intergalactic affair, and to get the entire universe swirling and twirling in a flurry of pink tulle!
To fund my travel adventures (it takes a lot of energy to zip about the universe!), I have to say I've been practicing extra hard with my ballet performances! I even manage to sneak in a little ballet show here and there while exploring all of these wonderful new worlds. The applause just keeps me going - it truly is such an amazing feeling, connecting with so many audiences, getting people up on their feet, all whilst wearing my beautiful, oh so sparkly, pink tutus. 💅
I’ll never forget my time in Balletland – it was like stepping into a real-life fairytale. And it’s inspired me to work even harder to make my dream come true: getting every being, everywhere, in a pink tutu! After all, why shouldn’t everyone be living their best ballet life? It's totally pinktastic, and that's what it's all about! 💖 ✨
