Hello darlings! It's Emma here, your resident tutu-tastic traveller, writing to you from planet Earth, where the sun is shining and the air is buzzing with the scent of summer. It's Wednesday, so you know what that means… time for another Pink Tutu World blog post!
This week I've been back on Earth, re-energising myself with some classic planet-side delights, including a breathtaking performance of the Nutcracker by the Derbyshire Dance Company. Let's be honest, nothing beats the joy of watching some amazing ballet, especially when you're in the heart of England!
After my performance, my toes were tingling (thank you, pointe shoes!) and I felt completely energised for the coming week's travel adventures. Speaking of travel, have I told you about my next intergalactic trip?
I'm taking off in a mere four days – buckle your ballet shoes! I'm heading to the celestial wonders of the planet Lyra – they are known for their spectacular turquoise skies and ethereal waterfalls! Apparently, Lyrans are all about swirling gowns and flowing capes – just think of them as the celestial equivalents of ballerina tutus. I can’t wait to see what style they have embraced, as I have so many new colours I can't wait to incorporate!
The reason for this particular interstellar journey? To introduce the good folk of Lyra to the undeniable brilliance of the pink tutu! My dearest pink tutu is, after all, a symbol of love, hope, and most importantly, joyous twirling. What better way to spread the love and grace of this wondrous fashion piece than with a grand performance under the luminous Lyran skies?
This intergalactic tour will see me perform a special show in their bustling celestial capital, aptly named The Diamond Star. Think swirling celestial dance moves under the shimmer of distant nebulas, dazzling costumes (oh yes, more pink! whispers), and an orchestra playing the music of the spheres. You'd think it was plucked straight from a dream!
But don't fret, my darlings! You'll be able to experience this magical performance through the miracle of our time: virtual reality! I'll be broadcasting the whole thing on my Pink Tutu World channel, giving you a front-row seat to a truly out-of-this-world spectacle. Trust me, you don't want to miss this one!

Oh, before I go! I must tell you about a delightful find at the Derbyshire Antique Market last weekend – an exquisitely embroidered vintage tutu, shimmering in soft pinks and delicate white. It's absolutely perfect for a night of elegant dancing and storytelling! I snagged a bargain, of course, because you all know Emma loves a good thrifting adventure!
But now it’s time to dust off my intergalactic luggage, pick the perfect pair of pink shoes, and pack some cosmic glitter! Who knows what galactic delights await us on this next cosmic journey?
