Hello, my darling tutu-tastic followers! Emma here, ready to whisk you away on another dazzling journey across the celestial dance floor! This week, we're taking a trip back down to Planet Earth, but don't worry, our cosmic tutu-twirling adventure never truly stops! It's all about the dance, darling, and every planet we touch gets a dose of that magical pink tutu energy.
Before I start, do you know what's truly amazing? It's Wednesday! You know what that means...a new blog post, and a brand new look, my darlings! I'm rocking my favourite pink tulle creation – it’s a custom-designed masterpiece, a celestial symphony of ruffles and sparkle that screams "intergalactic ballerina"!
This week, it's all about reminiscing and sharing some Earthly experiences. After all, there's no place like home… especially when home is planet Earth!
The 16th of October: A Dance Filled Day!As I sit here writing to you, it’s October 16th, 2019 on Planet Earth, and what a day it has been! It’s my darling Grandma’s birthday, so after a lovely cuppa and a slice of her delicious Victoria Sponge cake, we took a trip to the local town centre of Derby. Now, my fellow tutu-lovers, Derby has got a history in lace and silk! This vibrant town used to be the centre of Britain's silk industry – what better inspiration for my wardrobe, right? It made me want to run around town, swishing my pink tulle with pure delight!
Derby isn't just about the silks and fabrics, it’s a dance enthusiast's dream come true! I have to say, they have some incredible dance schools, and a truly wonderful, old-fashioned theatre which is almost as old as the planet itself! It even has a beautiful balcony where we can soak in all the local ballet happenings – I spent a good chunk of the afternoon gazing at the impressive old theatre and imagining all the beautiful performances it has hosted!
My heart flutters with delight as I think about how many talented dancers must have graced that stage throughout history. It’s a humbling feeling, thinking of the sheer scale of artistry and talent that has taken place in Derby over the centuries. This is the reason I’ve been diligently practicing my pirouettes; I know one day I’ll grace those very boards myself! I mean, I may be known as the intergalactic ballerina, but you'll be seeing a lot more of Planet Earth in the future - it's about to get a cosmic dance update, I tell you!
But here’s a little secret, darlings… you can take the ballerina out of Derbyshire, but you can’t take the Derbyshire out of the ballerina!
After a little day-dream, we then visited the fabulous intu Derby Shopping Centre (fancy name for a shopping mall!). Let me tell you, this place is a sartorial dreamland, brimming with enough colour, sparkle and sequins to make any ballerina weak at the knees! It was definitely a tutu-tastic experience, but alas, my luggage allowance is limited… but who’s counting? We don’t need shopping bags to wear fabulous!
Dancing Through The Cosmos: Ballet From Earth to the Stars!Back on the spaceship, with my heart bursting with the spirit of Derbyshire and that incredible local theatre, I can’t help but feel so thankful. Thankful to be on this celestial journey, thankful for this fabulous life filled with dancing and tutus and all those beautiful pink hues – thank you Universe, for showing me so much. I really think there’s a universe-sized, cosmic tutu party happening for me out there – that is my mission! Get every creature, every being, every planet wearing a fabulous, fabulous pink tutu! I am absolutely determined to bring the magic of pink tutu to every corner of the galaxy!

Key Features: * Multi-layered tulle skirt, with strategically placed layers for a fuller effect * Soft pink, shimmering sequin accents around the edges for a subtle twinkle – oh so sparkly! * A silk ribbon that’s adorned with delicate silver beads (think about those stars!), to be worn tied around the waist, just below the bust. * The skirt of the tutu is held up with a soft, pastel-pink stretch ribbon which is attached to a small elastic waist band for a more comfortable wear (gotta make those steps effortless!)
