Hello my darling tutus!
It's Wednesday, which means it's time for a new post from your favourite intergalactic ballerina! I'm writing to you live from…drumroll please… Planet Earth! 🌍
Oh, the whirlwind of a journey it's been. Honestly, even I, with my extensive cosmic travelling experience, haven't had an adventure this exciting in quite some time. I’m still catching my breath from the most dazzling, breathtaking, whirlwindy week ever!
For those of you who missed the announcement (you were all off wearing your pink tutus at a stellar performance, I bet!) I'm in the middle of my grand Earth tour! This gorgeous planet is bubbling with incredible ballet traditions, fabulous shops (I'm in total awe of their shoes!*), and an endless amount of *sparkly inspiration for my upcoming collection.
Where Have I Been?
First stop was Derbyshire! It was SO lovely to be back home. I mean, the planet Earth is so utterly beautiful - imagine, all these magnificent natural landscapes and, you guessed it, endless amounts of inspiration for tutu designs! My travels started in the Peak District – those majestic mountains, so beautiful and inspiring. And while I was there, I even managed to catch a sneak peek of a beautiful local production of Swan Lake at the Derby Theatre – stunning! 😍
Let’s not forget the glorious fashion, darling! From classic English styles to high-street treasures – I indulged my shopping senses! (And, yes, I may have even bought a couple of new pink tutus. Because a girl needs to refresh her wardrobe, right? 😉 )
Now, back to our trip! The energy of the Earth is incredibly vibey and pulsating with passion. I mean, I've been travelling all over the galaxy, but it's hard to find anywhere else with this electric excitement. I even saw a street performer dancing on the streets – it reminded me of those enchanting performances I see across the universe. ✨
The Highlights
Okay, let’s get to the juicy details, shall we? This past week, I've been experiencing everything Planet Earth has to offer!
- First, the shops! The Earth has a fascinating mix of high-street fashion and incredible boutiques - I'm totally in love with some of the unique fabrics I've found here!
- The museums, darling, oh, the museums! From ballet to textile and fashion exhibitions, I have spent many delightful hours immersing myself in the artistry and history of this fascinating world.
- Finally, the ballet! I've seen stunning performances by local dancers, attended captivating workshops, and even had a chance to dance in some of the iconic dance studios. This planet really does understand how to celebrate dance!
And Today...
Today is the 25th of September, and it’s a huge day! I'm attending a private ballet performance in London – it’s supposed to be something very special! I can’t share the details – secrecy, darling, secrecy! I’ll just say the name of the piece is “Starlight Serenade”, and I have high expectations! ✨
Of course, it wouldn't be a true Pink Tutu World update without a touch of fashion advice. My darling tutus, always remember that wearing pink tutus is a celebration of self-expression, fun and elegance! 😉
