Greetings, my dearest Tutu Tribe!
It's Emma here, your resident pink tutu aficionado, landing back on planet Earth after a whirlwind interstellar adventure! My trusty spaceship, the "Pink Petal", has finally touched down, and let me tell you, I've got a ton to tell you!
This week, my galactic journey led me to the beautiful, bustling city of Paris (no, not the one on Earth – this one’s on the charming, slightly more pastel-coloured, planet Périne!) I was there for the grand International Galactic Tutu Fashion Week and oh my gosh, it was everything and more! Think floating tulle clouds, holographic tutus with sparkling nebulae designs, and intergalactic couture gowns that shifted and changed colour with the passing of each space comet.
I even saw a performance by the Space Ballet Extraterrestrial, featuring some truly remarkable leaps, jetés, and grand jetés across the vast, cosmic stage. Imagine, the most spectacular backdrop you could dream of - swirling galaxies and nebulas - and dancers gliding through the cosmic dust. Honestly, the sheer awe of it all made me feel like a tiny, twirling fairy dancing amongst the stars!
Of course, I was on the lookout for some stunning tutus for my own collection (can’t let a Tutu Tribe girl pass up a chance like that!) I snapped up an exquisite lavender tutu that shimmered like starlight and a vibrant, electric blue tutu that moved with the most mesmerizing swirls.
But let’s get back to Earthly delights! It seems 29th October, 2025 is a day jam-packed with fabulous happenings in my home planet's world.
Ballet lovers are in for a treat! Tonight, the Royal Ballet are performing Swan Lake, and the excitement is palpable. I simply must get tickets – the classical beauty of the music and the emotional depth of the story just fills me with an ethereal joy.
Speaking of beauty, my beloved Derbyshire is hosting the Autumn Harvest Festival - and it wouldn't be the same without the stunning displays of local artisan creations! There'll be beautifully crafted wooden bowls, vibrant autumnal woven tapestries, and gorgeous pottery – perfect for a tutu-inspired tea party!
After a day of indulging in earthy delights, I'm ending my evening with a spectacular showing of La Bayadère, performed by the Birmingham Royal Ballet . I just love their spirited performance of this legendary ballet. I'm hoping to find some stunning tutus and a magnificent headpiece that capture the opulent glamour of this breathtaking ballet.
It’s funny, you know, even though I travel to galaxies far, far away, my heart always finds its way back to the little town in Derbyshire where I started this whole pink tutu journey. My roots may be firmly planted in earthly soil, but my heart yearns to spread the magic of dance and fashion throughout the universe!
Now, my darlings, tell me what your favourite part of the week was? I'd love to hear about all the amazing adventures you've had!

The Glam of Ballet & Shopping
Oh, the sheer joy of immersing myself in the ballet world! I simply adore attending live performances. There's something magical about watching talented dancers express themselves through their bodies and the exquisite elegance of their movements. It’s truly an artistic feast! I love catching every last detail – from the delicate flourishes of a pirouette to the intricate movements of the corps de ballet, and how those details coalesce into a masterpiece of artistic expression.
It's also a wonderful opportunity to indulge my inner fashionista! Each performance, each ballet, is a fashion show of its own! From the exquisite designs of the costumes to the lavish detail of the set pieces, every element comes together to create a symphony of colour and form.
You can't possibly talk about ballet without mentioning tutus. A ballerina's tutu is a symbol of grace, lightness, and freedom. And a ballet performance is simply not complete without the intricate patterns, delicate materials, and magnificent details of a perfect tutu! I spend countless hours researching the history of tutus and their evolution, from the simple, short designs of the early ballet to the voluminous and extravagant designs of modern ballet. It's a fascinating story!
Of course, ballet inspires so much beyond the stage! When I see a truly mesmerizing performance, I often go home buzzing with new ideas for my own fashion line, Pink Tutu World! I imagine swirling tulle, shimmering sequins, and beautiful fabrics dancing to the music in my mind.
The Joy of PinkIf you know me, you know that my life is pretty much drenched in pink! I believe in the power of pink to make the world a happier, brighter, and more magical place! And what better way to spread that pink love than with a tutu? It’s all about bringing joy and vibrancy wherever you go, whether it's an intergalactic fashion week or an autumn festival in Derbyshire. It’s a simple, elegant reminder to embrace the sweetness of life.
I don't know what I'd do without my trusty, fluffy pink tutu! It's been with me on countless adventures - from exploring the furthest reaches of the galaxy to attending the most extravagant ballet performances! And now it's ready for a new adventure: leading the way to a pink tutu filled universe.
Don’t forget to follow me on all of my pink-tutu filled adventures!
I’ll be posting a new blog on Pink Tutu World every Wednesday. Until then, go forth, spread the love of pink, and wear your tutu with confidence!
Love,
Emma
