Helloooo darlings! It’s your favourite pink-tutu-wearing intergalactic fashionista, Emma, back with another post from Planet Earth!
This week has been absolutely fabulously bonkers. Firstly, you have no idea how utterly thrilled I was to wake up on my beloved Planet Earth to the sound of rain. It's been SO hot lately and while I adore sunshine, even I crave the cool patter of droplets. Honestly, darling, it felt like a dream, the sort of dream you have just before waking up and suddenly find yourself yearning for a freshly brewed cuppa with some scrumptious pink cake! Speaking of pink cake, I think I might just whisk myself over to Betty’s for a spot of tea later, this fantastic weather calls for some delicious indulgences!
Now, enough about the earthly weather. We need to seriously get back to my main mission! Did you know that next week, on November 19th, there is going to be a fabulous completely spectacular ballet performance on Planet Earth that I simply cannot miss!
It's a brand-new ballet production by the renowned London Symphony Ballet Company! Imagine! It's an absolute dream! And they're even adding a little extra intergalactic flair by creating some costumes using a material that magically lights up under black lights! How exciting! Now, my darling little dancers, I have a special surprise for you! This very special show will be televised worldwide on Space-TV - the hottest intergalactic channel that plays all your favourite ballet shows from across the universe! If you’re anywhere near a telly with an antenna that works for interstellar broadcasts, don’t you dare miss it! I've got a feeling it's going to be epic!
Speaking of intergalactic tellies, remember my little mission to get everyone across the universe wearing pink tutus? Well, guess what? The #PinkTutuMovement just went supernova! My latest post, the one about those dazzling iridescent pink tutus that actually glow in the dark (talk about glam!) Well, darlings - the intergalactic demand for them has exploded. I’ve had messages from across the galaxy, from Andromeda, Centauri, even the elusive and always mysterious planet Omega. Seems that everyone wants to dance in pink! Honestly, darling, it's just fabulous!
Now, onto what's keeping me enchanted - shopping! Today, darling, I had the absolute pleasure of whisking myself to Derbyshire. You see, dearie, Derbyshire's the county where I grew up and where my love affair with ballet began. Remember the time, as a tiny tot, I used to twirl my little ballerina skirts around and enchant the neighbours with my dancing while I imagined myself on a real ballet stage?! Well, darling, guess what? I went to vintage shop today - just down the road from where my Grandma’s sweet shop used to be (sniff, I miss her delicious jelly beans). Anyway, dear, imagine my surprise when, tucked amongst the dusty knick-knacks and faded lace, I found a completely magnificent* *vintage tutu! Honestly darling, it's stunning. It's got a beautiful vintage floral pattern, is a vibrant magenta pink, and it was a *perfect match to a *vintage sequined bolero* I snagged a few weeks back. Just you wait until I reveal it at the next Earth-bound show! Can you imagine? The perfect ensemble for a totally *intergalactic ballet night!
Now, you can imagine the absolute joy that shopping gives me, darlings - but even a fabulous ballerina like me needs a break every now and again. So this weekend, I'm planning on spending some time in my beloved London. That's where my love of all things dance truly took off, darlings. Remember when I swept across the stage of The Royal Opera House as a wee ballet prodigy? Ahh, fabulous memories! And now, well, now I have a brand new set of shows at the world-renowned West End Theatres! Yes, darling, if you're ever in London you absolutely must visit these beautiful places, you simply won't find a more elegant place to witness a show anywhere on Planet Earth. You just have to see a ballet show in all its splendour and glory - truly, it is the most enchanting thing you can see. Do you remember how dazzled you felt when you first saw the London ballet companies take to the stage? Oh my, I have the most amazing time being a guest ballerina, dancing alongside such incredible talents. Amazing.
Anyway, dear, that's all from me for this week. Remember, darlings, my gorgeous pink tutu-wearing dancers, keep an eye out for your #PinkTutuMovement hashtag across the galaxy. You are my inspiration! Now I’m off to find another delicious pink treat – my tummy is starting to rumble!
Till next Wednesday, dear ones,
Emma ❤️
P.S. Remember, keep those #PinkTutu photos coming. You might find yourself featuring in my next post!
