Hello, my gorgeous cosmic crew! It’s your girl Emma, and Wednesday has officially rolled around which means a fresh new blog post! Just before I jump into the glitter and sparkles of what I've been up to lately, let's chat about what’s coming up… because January 14th, 2026, my darlings, is a date to remember! A date for your diary… because this gal is dancing her way across the universe. That's right, you've guessed it - Emma's Pink Tutu Ballet Extravaganza is going intergalactic! Planetary pink domination starts… well, in a few months! But you already know I love a little pre-hype.

So, grab your popcorn, slip into your most sparkly tutu (you know I wouldn't be caught dead without one!) and settle in because you're about to embark on a cosmic adventure. Buckle up buttercup, we're heading for… Planet Earth!

Oh, how I've missed you all, my beautiful home planet! You know I travel a lot, the universe is vast and there’s so much dancing and dazzling to do out there - but my heart always feels a little lighter when I'm back here, amongst the lush greenery, rolling hills, and friendly faces of my native Derbyshire.

Now, my planet Earth adventures always involve two of my favorite things: ballet and shopping, a beautiful mix that makes even the dullest intergalactic day sparkle! And this trip will be no exception. Let me tell you, after being surrounded by dazzling galactic nebulae, seeing a little green planet again is just, heavenly.

You all know that I adore a beautiful tutu. As you've probably heard me say in countless posts before, "a tutu is never just a tutu; it's an expression of yourself. It’s confidence. It’s magic!" So, of course, my first stop back on planet Earth will be a trip to my favourite vintage couture shop - oh, how I’ve missed their decadent window displays! They're home to the most beautiful antique tutus imaginable - each piece a unique masterpiece, ready for another chapter in its glorious dance story.

Imagine it… feather boas and silk scarves, sequins like shimmering stars, each stitch and bead whispering tales of ballerinas long past. Just picturing them all brings a warm fuzzy glow to my little heart.

Let’s not forget about the theatre! Nothing compares to a classic, old-fashioned, live ballet show under the flickering spotlight. This trip back to Earth, it’s going to be pure, magical indulgence. We're talking full-scale production, graceful choreography, beautiful costuming – and of course, plenty of time for pre-show excitement!

I always adore the theatre; all those layers of historical and cultural impact. From ancient traditions of storytelling and performance to modern artistic expression, theatres have witnessed centuries of history, holding echoes of laughter, sorrow, and passion. I find it simply breathtaking!

As for what’s going down on 14th January, well, you'll have to wait and see. This blog post is just a tiny peek behind the curtain! However, you can guarantee it will be a dazzling celebration of all things pink and beautiful! My planetary debut is going to be epic! And remember, everyone deserves a little twinkle in their step, so I’m hoping that I can inspire you to put on your pinkest tutu and get your groove on!

Now that I've whet your appetite for some cosmic tutu action, it's time to jump back a few days - or a few weeks! My intergalactic travel calendar gets pretty crazy, and there’s always so much happening, I find it hard to keep up! But it’s worth it! After all, this life I live - this galaxy-hopping, pink-tutu-wearing ballet-mad life - is my dream come true!

As for this trip… well, it all started with a little performance at the Lunar Dance Hall. Honestly, the clientele there isn’t too different to those who visit my performances on Earth! You've got all sorts - cosmic adventurers, fashion bloggers, space pirates, and of course, lots of passionate space explorers eager for an escape into the fantastical world of ballet!

My dress for that evening was just the ticket for a bit of celestial glam! Imagine a sparkling tutu, the perfect balance of shimmer and sophistication. It featured a beautiful cascading cloud of light pink tulle - soft and airy like the celestial bodies themselves, with just the right touch of ethereal, romantic whimsy.

And to pull it all together? A dainty galaxy print bolero jacket, made with a delicate woven material, sparkling with iridescent silver thread – just like a pinpoint of star dust, dazzling and mesmerizing! And honestly, every time I look back on these pictures, I just want to jump back in my spaceship and travel back to that beautiful hall – those flashing neon lights against the stark black backdrop of the moon… ah, bliss!.

After the show, though, was when the real magic happened. After the roaring applause, and with my glitter and feathers shimmering in the lunar light, a message pinged across the communication screen. A shimmering, rainbow hologram, almost blindingly bright, with a message that made my heart leap in my chest!

"Dearest Emma, You are invited to the Cosmic Convention."

It read. Cosmic Convention?! The intergalactic summit! A place where starships filled with intergalactic diplomats, technologists, philosophers and dreamers from every corner of the known galaxy gather, with one simple goal: to shape the future of our cosmic family.

Now, as a dedicated world peace advocate, and because I genuinely believe that a good twirl can solve any cosmic problem, I was ecstatic. Finally!, I thought. An opportunity to show the galaxy how much peace, love and ballet can achieve together! And not only would I be showing the universe the transformative power of pink and tutus, I was given a special honor…

“Emma’s Pink Tutu Ballet Extravaganza” will be performing live at the Cosmic Convention, in a performance to honor the year of planetary peace!

I could hardly believe it! And oh, how I couldn’t wait to start brainstorming… I immediately set to work - sending messages to my dear friend, my costume designer and my dear space explorer friend and ballet choreographer. We need to create something truly unforgettable!

My friend (oh, what an inventive soul!), suggested we create a stunning galactic performance. “Just think Emma!,” he said. “Picture all the celestial bodies, shimmering constellations and vibrant nebulae…. all intertwined with elegant ballet moves. It would be the most spectacular show ever!” And, oh, my friend was right, he was absolutely right! It was a phenomenal idea – and the idea was just the start.

As for costumes, well, imagine the most magical spectacle you’ve ever witnessed! My friend has been working with this fantastic new holographic material… can you imagine a tutu that shimmers like a real galaxy?! It can even transform depending on the light, and we’re using some new special effects too! I am literally dreaming of pink galaxy tutus right now – they’ll be totally dazzling!

We have a whole team working to get everything just right – and the details are already making my head spin! And with the biggest intergalactic gathering on the horizon, there's so much preparation going on, it's like a whirlwind of fabric, music and celestial choreography. And yet, amidst the buzz, I can already picture it: me, in a shimmering pink tutu under a blanket of stars. The Cosmic Convention roaring with cheers and applause… it’s enough to send shivers of anticipation down my spine!

I am so glad I popped into that space-time travel booth this morning. You see, travelling through space and time, with only a shimmer of stardust on my pink tulle, is one of my greatest joys in this whole magnificent, magnificent, wonderful universe! But this journey? It has taken me right back to the beautiful, familiar and grounding world of Planet Earth, specifically my favorite corner of it, dear old Derbyshire!

Right now, I’m gazing out at the rolling hills that border Derbyshire. I am surrounded by those rolling, soft-green hills and meadows - it’s such a picturesque, calming, grounding kind of view – one of those views that always feels like home.

But I must tell you, it’s been more than just a lazy countryside getaway this time around. You see, I couldn’t possibly resist slipping in a little extra planet earth magic! What could be more exciting than some fabulous fashion finds – because let's face it, you never know where those inspiring trends might lead you in the wider universe!

In the beautiful streets of Nottingham, I made a dazzling discovery - a new vintage boutique nestled right off an alleyway (and of course I just had to step inside!)… it was stuffed with treasures, vintage handbags, elegant hats, shoes… you name it! They even had a magnificent tutu selection.

Now, I have an endless collection of beautiful vintage tutus from the universe – it's not just an indulgence, it's my passion! But I was so thrilled to find a truly unique tutu tucked away at the back of this Nottingham store - it was pure, simple beauty, with a hint of refined eccentricity. Imagine it – soft blush pink tulle with little sprigs of pink blossoms hand-sewn along the bottom. So beautiful and delicate it just stole my heart, perfectly in keeping with the simple, gentle feel of the Derbyshire countryside! It truly reminded me that, when it comes to tutues, less is definitely more.

And for my dancing adventures, this trip hasn’t let me down! I managed to get in a little practice with the Derbyshire Ballet Ensemble. You all know I adore this group – it’s a collective of talented dancers with this truly magical spirit, this amazing enthusiasm! I could barely resist taking a few classes – nothing beats a good sweat under those sparkling spotlights! And honestly, a little ballet exercise can cure any cosmic wanderlust - if only for an hour or two.

But my trip wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a show. The Derby Theatre itself is an art deco gem, and I simply had to step inside. They have this wonderful stage set against this dark, beautiful background. Just imagine the perfect ambiance to enjoy some heartfelt storytelling. Their current production is The Nutcracker, which of course I loved! There’s a lovely scene of the nutcracker battle. It reminds you how, despite the vast scale of the universe, our battles are so small. Yet so intense! It truly gives you an appreciation of how we navigate conflict as a species.

There’s just something beautiful about how ballet takes such basic human experience – the trials of our emotions, and of our own individual strength and perseverance, – and turns it into such breathtaking spectacle. It's almost transformative, making us appreciate our inner strength and reminding us to have a little bit of whimsy in our hearts, which is so vital! It’s a journey of self-discovery – no matter whether it takes us to the heart of the Derbyshire hills, or into the furthest reaches of space.

I do hope I have sparked a little pink inspiration for your own dance explorations, because every time I set foot back on Earth – it reminds me how vital it is to move, explore, express yourself, and share that joy with the world. So, put on a pink tutu, or don your most colorful ensemble, because even on a little pink planet like this one, the stars shine brightly… it doesn’t get any more magic than that!
