Hello darlings,
It’s Wednesday, the 1st of July, 2026, and guess what?! It’s time for my weekly blog post. You know, like the old-school bloggers did. Back when people actually read words on the internet! Ha! Just joking... sort of!
I’m perched on my window seat right now, staring out at the Earth, it’s so beautiful. That glorious green, the swirling blues of the oceans, and those fluffy clouds drifting past, reminding me of fluffy tutus! (Can you tell I’m feeling poetic today?!)
Anyway, you know I’m obsessed with travelling to new galaxies, dancing across the cosmos, and most importantly - making sure everyone knows about the joys of twirling in a glorious pink tutu.
And speaking of tutus, this week, my little darlings, we’re taking a trip back to Planet Earth, my home planet. That's right!
This gorgeous, vibrant planet with its delicious smells of freshly baked pastries and the sounds of joyous laughter on street corners is bursting with colour. I know I normally rave about intergalactic journeys, alien couture and spaceship-ballet-extravaganzas, but Earth, oh Earth, she never fails to win me over with her charm.
You see, there’s just something about Planet Earth. A sense of history, of heritage, of storytelling woven through every blade of grass and sparkling pebble.
So this week, my lovelies, let’s get into some fabulous Planet Earth Ballet and Fashion:
Planet Earth Ballet ExtravaganzaYou see, my dears, Planet Earth is overflowing with ballet traditions, history, and style. I’ve been studying the historical dances and movements, the legendary costumes, and the modern expressions of this fabulous art form that have taken hold across the planet. And honestly, it's a bit overwhelming, to be honest.
I’m a proud Derbyshire lass, you know. Born and bred on this green and lovely Isle, and that little voice that whispers about tradition, heritage, and British culture is loud and clear in my heart. So when it comes to Ballet, there are certain ballet stories that just have to be experienced, a few shows that must be witnessed.
And this week, I am about to experience the magnificent: “The Nutcracker.” Oh, it's a big one!
If you’re a ballet fanatic like me, then this classic story needs no introduction. The story of a young girl who embarks on a fantastical journey after receiving a special gift. Filled with breathtaking choreography, stunning costumes, and heartwarming characters, this production is a guaranteed hit for every generation. Speaking of live feeds, you lovely souls know I'm obsessed with the ballet on this planet. So I'm taking the opportunity to indulge in some street performances. I have it on good authority, my lovelies, that London’s Royal Opera House has a new generation of talented dancers bringing fresh energy and bold visions to the art form, and I cannot WAIT.
I'll be taking my fabulous pink tutu and doing a little ballet class. There is a ballet class right on my doorstep in Derbyshire, England. Honestly, if it is raining (because it does rain on Earth!), I’m so happy I found this fabulous studio, so I can practice my spins, leaps, and arabesques. Just imagine my fabulous tutu and these gorgeous new shoes (they are SO PINK, you guys!). Oh, I cannot wait. I'll share pictures on my Insta account this week too!
You know how I love to get up early. Well, today was no different. I got to the studio and found myself standing amongst a wonderful mix of ballet fanatics! Every dancer in the studio was filled with such positive energy, so inspiring to be around! It was just what my soul needed, especially as my big "Nutcracker" adventure is about to begin.
Now, after ballet practice, we all know that Earth has the BEST shopping experience - even in my Derbyshire hometown! So it's back to the boutiques and emporiums of Derbyshire to discover the most fabulous pieces, those amazing outfits to pair with my gorgeous tutu. It is, of course, about the latest and greatest tutus and other fancy dancewear. You know I'm on the hunt for the newest fabrics, the most incredible colour palettes, and designs that are completely out of this world! But also a look at some fabulous retro vintage pieces that Earth’s most fashionable ballerinas and ballerinos have been rocking. It is just so much FUN to search through the vintage stores and markets in my beautiful home county!
Honestly, my dears, I could write for days on Earth, this beautiful planet and all its ballet-fashion secrets, but you lovely creatures will want to get back to your intergalactic lives and prepare for the upcoming planetary ball this week, so let’s wind down for now.
